I had just moved and was unable to establish a new Dr and app before my prescription ran out of refills at my previous location in China Texas. I was able to to get a refill on my much needed blood pressure medicine to last me until I get to my new Dr. This brought me such peace of mind, thank you.

People are nice. App is terrible. They are asking me to specify pharmacy, but the app does not provide a mechanism to enter a pharmacy. They have my money, I have a 4 day run around with no end in sight. Update: have had another updates (both in app and phone call to resolve issue and am back on track). Still not sure what happened in app; but seems to be working fine now. Thanks!

Was charged a $100 no show they said for missing appointment. I was available but did not get a notification or call for appt. I did reschedule after finding out about the charge and received a msg I would be reimbursed , never was after they said it was for a video visit not a no show as stated previously in their msg. I was also billed an additional $496.00 for medication that was supposed to be covered at my local pharmacy . After a week they did reimburse the pharmacy fee that I never understood. All said and done I wasted a couple of weeks of time and frustration, plus the hassle of getting my acct overcharged and never got the $ 100 back and was not approved. Their customer service is only through chat or msg which is not customer friendly at all. Don’t waste your time and be careful giving them your bank or credit card information!

Hi Charles, Thank you for telling us about this. We know a charge like that can be a lot to see, and we want to make sure it’s clear. Your visit had one charge, for the visit itself. The $496.12 came from the self-pay option selected for your medication at checkout. When you let us know you didn’t want to pick up the medication at that price, we refunded the full $496.12 on 9/23. My experience was fantastic. My doctor was very efficient, knowledgeable, and caring! She looked at my pictures listen to my story and descriptions and prescribe me something ASAP it was fantastic experience recommended to anyone!

We were a little hesitant to use an online care option but took the leap. Glad we did! We are older and don't want to be around sick people so being able to connect with a medical professional online and in our Medicare network made it all work well for us. No waiting in an office with coughing going on. Easy to connect with the link General sends before the appt, you can test audio and video before hand. We've seen several Drs and RN's, all very professional, all well informed of our medical history, our test results and medications are all in the system. It's seamless and so easy to set future appts, and you can set one quickly because of the far ranging network of medical people available. Of course we do our own research too for whatever our physical issue is and we speak up from our perspective. These Drs listen better than our PCPs. We don't always agree but they heard us. Very unique these days and refreshing after being pushed through the mill with another drug, another specialist appt, a pat on the back, see ya in three months. We highly recommend General for it's great customer care, competent physicians, and quick availability.
