Last night I discovered I was about to be out of my prescription (for anxiety and insomnia). My usual telehealth service increased in price, so I decided to try out general medicine. The fact that they had a $30 chat option to refill prescriptions was better than I was seeing elsewhere. After filling out the forms, I paid and was told that I would hear from the assigned clinician at 12pm for a chat appointment (I assumed the the following day bc it was at around 8pmEDT that I paid on Tuesday). A little before 11 PM, I received a survey about anxiety, which I filled out when I saw it in the morning. Around 12:30pm Wednesday I then reminded them that I really need this prescription filled today because it’s for insomnia and I’m out completely. I have yet to hear from a clinician, and it’s now 3:20 PM, and it’s looking very unlikely that they will send that prescription to the pharmacy with enough time to have it filled today. This is very disappointing and dangerous because I could have made my request elsewhere. There have been no responses to my messages at all. Edit: it is now 6:00 PM and I still haven’t heard anything from anyone at this company.

I was being pushed into a corner with the "specialist" I'd been seeing for my medical condition. General medicine helped me to get the medication I need without trying to force me into undergoing procedures that cost a fortune, all while holding my script renewal hostage. I'm very grateful to this team for the follow ups, and for their continued assistance working with my insurance to get authorization for my specialty drug. I will certainly use them again, and I hope you will give them a chance as well. This team is on it, and they do so quickly.

I have the hardest time getting antibiotics for an ongoing issue I have had for 10 years. I understand the issue sounds serious but again, 10 years. General Medicine did a quick exam and gave me a 10 day antibiotic. I appreciate the quickness. The issue did not progress like it usually does.
