Owned by Haier and Whirlpool (Europe). Don't buy Haier products. The warranty service is appalling. The warranty is sub-contracted to Domestic and General, which in turn sub-contract the actual servicing to Hoover Candy. Hoover Candy is owned by Whirlpool.
The engineers don't know how to fix the Haier washing machines. Saying to their manager they cannot fix washing machines they haven't been trained on is not what you want to hear. Arriving without any parts when told by the people you book on the phone with that they will, is unacceptable. Waiting a week for the engineer to come only to be told he needs parts he never even brought with him is unacceptable. Waiting another week for him to try and fix it only to find he can't is unacceptable. Then waiting another week for another part to arrive, only to hen find it is the wrong part is unacceptable.
Spending over 4 weeks without a washing machine is unacceptable. The cost in finding alternative ways to wash during that time ends up being as much as the washing machine itself. It has cost us a fortune to keep a family of five going without a functioning washing machine.
Absolute appalling service. Avoid anything to do with Haier. There are so many bad reviews about the product. When it fails, the service to repair is appalling, making the whole experience intolerable (and more expensive).

Trust GE not! Ordered "new" GE appliances from Costco. Whoa - absolutely not what we got!
Wife and I ordered a new GE washer and dryer 4-20-22 thru Costco - to be delivered 4-25. Thinking Costco would be delivering we found out far too late that once Costco issues an order [internally] GE takes over control of literally everything from that point forward. (Costco claims GE is the only MFR that does this and it remains of great issue/concern with Costco) GE does not interface with Costco at that point and operates totally on the outside of Costco. Now we understand why: so GE can try to get away with extremely devious activities, literally bordering on fraud.
$
1st delivered washer & dryer were used/refurbished and had noticeable wear, etc. The GE delivery crew lied to us as concerned several questions, did not level either appliance, didn't hookup the dryer vent, but turned on the pair and *immediately* left our home, where soon the washer began making all kinds of racket so I turned it off and looked inside. The agitator was in pieces banging around the water filled grease ringed tub. Clearly not new! The dryer had marks all over the back that indicated it had come from somewhere else but the factory and banged loudly, EMPTY. Very distressed I called in for replacements to Costco - and found they can't do anything, so I had to call the GE delivery people, who left a PHONY callback number - it literally isn't real!
$
Took GE until May 9th to get us a supposedly "new" 2nd washer, but, NO dryer! The "new" washer was **also** used/rebuilt. (I have a ton of emails, a hundred pictures and many videos to prove all of what I claim here in this VERY ABBREVIATED review!)
$
3rd delivery May 16th brought a 2nd dryer and 3rd washer out. I rejected the dryer immediately because it was clearly another used/refurbished unit! The washer got really scrutinized after they left: facia scratches were literally everywhere, the back was damaged, the inside was filthy!
$
DONE & DONE! This was the last straw. I contacted GE and Costco and told them this stuff is going back and I want my $ back. Costco said they have to wait for GE to pick the items up. Then I was told by GE it couldn't happen right away. WHAT?! 5-19-22 I took the appliances to the patio and wifey and I went to Lowes and bought the SAME appliances, which were delivered by Lowes 5-22-22. I kept the appliance boxes to cover the prior GE units to protect them in the interim.
$
Even after many calls & texts GE didn't bother to pick up the appliances until JUNE 4th! Then they wouldn't give us a receipt that they had done so. It became clear they were stiff-arming us after 5 days so I threatened them with theft, as well as shared I had a full length video of them removing the appliances from our property. Within the hour I got text and email confirmation our appliances had been checked in/credited back and that Costco had been advised - so Costco could finally process our money back to our account - which did happen.
$
In all this we found this supposed "professional" GE delivery service went by 3 *different* names and *none* of the people appear to be trustworthy at any level - including mgmt (GE hired them - so I'm sure they know the goings on). Reviews strongly suggest GE corporate is aware of these tricksters but apparently PURPOSEFULLY hires such outsiders to maintain an enormous level of deniable culpability. WOW - what a way to do business!
$
BTW: the units we got from Lowes WERE "new" and have been working like champs! MORAL: Do not buy *ANYTHING* G. E. from Costco. GE runs all over the Costco staff and their good name and is but an ugly blight upon Costco proper! NOTE: Costco's hands were tied in all of this (GE doesn't even let them deliver GE products) so cannot blame Costco, except for ONE THING: Costco continues to handle GE in spite of the fact Costco said multiple times that GE is terrible to do business with. Costco (various folks at different levels within) shared they have countless complaints from customers about the GE scenario.
$
It would "appear" GE does supply actual "new" appliances to at least some retailers who do delivery of products OUTSIDE of the GE hired crews. [ie: those retailers that don't use GE delivery crews.] At least that was the case with Lowes. We're glad for that for had the appliances we bought from Lowes at all indicated they had been used/refurbished/etc, the matter would have had to go full-on legal against GE and news crews would definitely have been called in. The fact that Lowes appliances WERE as advertised ("NEW") was the savings grace for GE.
$
Be VERY careful from whom you buy GE products and inquire WHO does the deliveries & set-ups. NO ONE should ever have to have had the outrageous & terrible experience we did with GE.
$
We felt an obligation to share all this so others who do a bit of due-diligence (research) might not get burned the way we did. Hope this helps, thanks for listening.

GE customer service bad.
I bought a GE french door refrigerator and within a month the compressor went out. I called GE and two different times they sent the wrong compressor after giving them the part number. I have been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks and now it is under reveiw which could take days. My advice is don't buy from GE because they do not care if I have a frig or not. Sad!

GE range trash as well as customer service.
So today I had my fifth repair and my convection oven is still NOT fixed. Repair person called GE relations and they want us to do yet another repair. Is six service calls acceptable, according to GE yes of course. I finally called GE instead of emailing and was livid with the representative (no cussing), she didn't care she hung up on me. GE does NOT care at. They have wasted 25 hours of my work time that I will not get compensated for. Repair #1 2/21/22 Repair #2 3/15/22 Repair #3 3/31/22 Repair 4 4/22/22 Repair #5 5/10/22 waiting for parts in between these time. Now they want a service call #6. How will I be compensated for lost time at work and no use of my oven? How is this acceptable. There should be a class action lawsuit against GE and these ranges.
New range delivered Friday 5/20/22, 1st bread baking on Monday. Unfortunately convection oven still does not bake correctly.

Absolutely terrible experience with GE Appliances Monogram Dishwasher
Absolutely terrible experience with GE Appliances Monogram Dishwasher. We have spent the last six months with technicians coming to repair the dishwasher we purchased from GE Appliances and each time they REFUSED to provide us with a new one. We started having problems with the GE Monogram dishwasher from GE Appliances immediately after installation. After spending countless hours with customer service they sent a technician out to repair it - it was brand new and broken when we received it, why couldn't we simply exchange for a new one?? When the technician arrived and "fixed" the problem, we noticed it immediately again. After another call to customer service and a technician appointment later, the problem was still not going away. We scheduled ANOTHER appointment and after this we did not require just one more visit from a tech we required SIX more. One of these visits included two technicians who came with boxes of parts larger than the dishwasher itself and the techs told us that they basically took apart the entire dishwasher and put it back together! Oh! AND they informed us the problem would not be going away and we would simply need a new dishwasher. During this visit, they broke the soap container which required - you guessed it - ANOTHER visit with the tech! After informing GE Appliances about the additional broken piece they FINALLY decided to let us exchange dishwashers. Same type of dishwasher (GE Monogram), fits the same size panel to match the cabinets. Two techs came to install the dishwasher and informed my daughter who was home at the time, they would not be installing the panel covering the dishwasher. I called their office and the employee told me to tell them to call the office. My daughter did so, and the tech simply said to her "No I'm not doing that, it doesn't matter if the President wants it done, that's not my job to install." After his manager had to call him, the techs installed the panelling on the front of the dishwasher BROKEN. They only secured the top and now the bottom is HANGING OFF of our dishwasher. Our panel is broken on the front and now the dishwasher is completely crooked with one side extended further than the other AND the door is hanging and drops to the floor and bounces if you let go of it. Absolutely awful experience with GE Appliances and i will NEVER purchase an appliance from them again.

Good washer and dryer
We purchased a GE commercial grade washer and dryer from a local appliance company three months ago. They looked good and functioned well for three loads of laundry. Then the dryer drum stopped turning. We called for a warranty repair, and they sent one right away. The technician was here for about 10 minutes and fixed the issue right away. A part that was supposed to be removed after shipping was still in the dryer, so he removed it, and we've had no further issues. This was not GE's doing but rather our local dealer who delivered it.
Why only three stars? Well, there's a cycle for bulky items like towels and blankets. It seems to be far less effective than the regular "Colors" cycle. The "Bulky Items" setting won't spin the water out of the towels, which is exactly what it's supposed to do. In addition the wash cycles are super long, about 90 minutes. Fortunately, there's also a "Speed Wash" cycle. Other than that the washer and dryer perform quite well.
