Awful experience. They take money dont fix and keep you waiting without money refund for bad services “ You are covered, next technician its available in 1 week it would be free ( I have a month hearing this”.
Just keep distance from this company and they products.

We purchased a top line Monogram fridge. The problems encountered are too many to list. 6 service visits later, the fridge was replaced with another model as the previous unit was discontinued. Wonder why? The new unit required new panels & was over $2000 our cost. We were advised compensation was in the works. Communication on this would be great.
Numerous occassions to reach the Manger Consumer Relations, Kenya Esquivei ,emails & telephone calls 3 months & counting have gone unanswered.
Not only is GE/Monogram producing an inferior product their customer service is deplorable.

DO NOT PURCHASE GE APPLIANCES
DO NOT PURCHASE GE APPLIANCES
I purchased a GE profile washer/dryer May 8th, 2025 and paid extra for the professional installation and 3 year protection plan. We left for the weekend to attend a wedding shortly after it was installed and returned to a flooded basement. Our plumber identified that the washer/dryer was the culprit, and a faulty installation stripped one of the plastic connections causing a slow leak (which we didn’t immediately notice since it started behind the unit). We called Home Depot who referred us to GE for a repair / replacement. GE has been to our home now 3 times over the course of 6 weeks, ordered 3 sets of parts, and has fixed absolutely nothing - their repair person actually dented the unit and the leak has broken it completely (no heat in dryer). GE stated we need to ask Home Depot for a refund or replacement, and their service tech candidly told us GE never deems a unit “unrepairable” and will continue to order random parts and schedule service appointments every two weeks hoping something works / the customer gives up.
After explaining the issue to Home Depot June 2nd, the Watchung store manager refused to refund the faulty unit (which their installers broke) and told us we needed to call Allstate under our protection plan. Allstate, when called, told us they can’t replace the unit until the manufacturer warranty expires (in a whole year) and only the Home Depot can replace or refund us.
The dryer unit is still leaking, doesn’t heat, and nobody is willing to take responsibility for selling a defective product (Home Depot, GE, or Allstate). We did everything “right” and AS OF JUNE 19, 2025 have property damage (the soaked basement carpet we had to blow out for 72 hours), emotional distress, and haven’t been able to wash our clothes in our home for months.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Buy from Lowe’s and don’t purchase a GE product. DO NOT TRUST THEIR “PROTECTION PLANS” OR WARRANTY

I purchased a PTW600 washer and a PTD60EBSR dryer . The dryer has been replaced as it failed in the first week . Both products are very noisy when operating . We had tired of the poor cleaning , noise, and reliability of a front load Electrolux and were hoping for a quiet product . We have buyers remorse. The packaging is poor and leads to unforeseen damage .

New dryer defects.
GE GTX52 commercial grade electric dryer. I believe the dryer will be as good as my matching wash machine bought 2 years ago. Dried only one load as of this review. Before I could use dryer, had 3 defects to correct, all minor.
1. The power cord retaining clamp had screw holes drilled too small for screws to engage and tighten clamp;used my own smaller screws to correct.
2. The neutral wire(middle) connection on terminal block to attach power cord was so tight I was unable to loosen by any means I had. Called dealer for service man to come over. Used pneumatic wrench with straight bit (these are phillips screws) to jar screw loose. Fortunateley the terminal block threads were not stripped.
3. The vent tube at rear bottom of dryer was not crimped correctly to attach vent line(was too big). I removed vent tube , brought to dealer to recrimp to work.
Altogether spent around 4 hours to fix these things to use dryer. Not what I would expect to encounter with GE

Purchased a complete kitchen package in October 2024.
My biggest disappointment is the over the range microwave.
The control panel is already scratched up. I used microfiber cloths and a gentle cleaner (Mrs. Meyers) to clean and it did not help in preventing any scratches.
GE says that it’s “normal wear and tear” really? It’s six months old and I live alone. No abuse and I invested a lot of money in this so I’m not going to abuse it. Highly disappointed.

NEVER purchase a GE major appliance!
NEVER purchase a GE major appliance!
In September 2024, I bought a GE Profile 5.3 cu ft washing machine with an extended warranty, a purchase totaling $1,399.18, and I quickly discovered that the machine is awful. The machine is disruptive with very loud repetitive banging for about 15 minutes, that GE attributes to its water efficiency design. And I can't wash a bath towel and a hand towel because the machine can't detect this as a small load and won't spin the towels dry. My choices are to hold my dirty towels until I build up a few of them before I can run a load, or I have to literally hand wring out the water from the towels before I can put them in the dryer. In my 70 years of living, I've NEVER had to do either of those things with any previous washers, and no one I know has to do that with their current non-GE washers. Everyone I've told about it is in utter disbelief.
I followed the warranty process, only to discover that the issues are not repairable because they're part of GE's poor engineering design. GE has refused to take this disruptive and dysfunctional machine back - it's a disgrace. I'm stuck with a HORRIBLE washing machine and GE literally couldn't care less. They state that the machine is performing according to engineering design, with no recognition that the design is flawed and unacceptable to a customer. From their standpoint, the joke is on me, and it seems they're right because $1,400 later, I can no longer dispute the charge with my credit card due to a 90-day dispute filing deadline.
Do yourself a favor - buy ANY manufacturer's washer other than GE and, if you have to spend a little more money to get it from a reputable, respectable and honorable vendor, do it!!!!!!!
