I purchased a GE Hot Point washer 08/26/22 from Home Depot. I have had a service technician come out three different times because the washer does not always drain the clothes properly. As well it moves out of place. This last technician told me he was doing me a favor coming out in the first place, because this was his second time coming out. Well, he lacks professionalism, and was not helpful at all. I will be reporting him to GE Corporate Office, He also said the washer works that way and they do not make them like they use too.

Purchased a GE topload washer that has been nothing but trouble. Was repaired 6 months (Nov 22) ago for a faulty computer. Same fault problem appeared 6 months later (May 23). The forst repair was complimentary. The second repair for the same problem will cost $500+ with an addition $115 just for the visit. The total for the repair almost exceeds the cost of a new washer which, on average, is app. $600 + for the exact same model new. ADVICE: do not purchase any GE product. Seems American Made makes for good PR but not for good products.

Bought an oven last month and broke just a few weeks later. They give you a 1 year warranty so when the product breaks you have to contact their warranty department. In our experience they scheduled a technician to come yesterday between a certain time frame. They did not call or show up. I called the 800 number who said the technicians were running behind and we were the last call of the day. No call or no show. The next day I chatted with their customer service rep who said two calls were made to the number listed on the account at 3pm which was my number. My phone never rang. I called at 5pm the day before and they did not mention the attempts to call. Now we're rescheduled but we'll have to wait and see.

Purchased under counter microwave model JVM7195FL1DS, manu Nov2017. LED light on bottom of unit burned out. Long story short. Replacing light is literally is absolutely impossible. Engineering design is with out question horrible. This is the second time to try and replace two bulbs. Can’t believe no product recall. Call GE the employee and he could see the problem. I don’t think it worth spending $200 or more because horrible design!

Dryer stopped working after less than 6months, impossible to reach someone to repair. We’ve called every day and left a message, it’s under warranty and we purchased extended protection but zero assistance. The lack of customer service for repairs is appalling and now we are stuck with a broken dryer. Avoid GE at all costs

I would give them zero stars if that was possible. My dryer broke while still under warranty. I have now gone with no working dryer for weeks. They came out and said the thermostat is out, but it's on back order. Call customer relations. Oh? They don't pick up the phone! You are on hold listening to the same voice message a thousand times for over an hour and they don't pick up. Once they get in touch, they don't act. Hopeless! Totally disrespectful of paying customers. Total lack of service culture. The people who answer the general phone line are rude and Iazy. Awful experience. I will never buy GE again. Never.

My GE microwave (11 months old) is dead. When I asked them to honor the warrenty and refund my money, they refused. Only a "good will certificate" for another GE product can be issued. I will never purchase another GE product.

Garbage electric- I bought a GE microwave and paid to have it installed. It broke in less than a year. The appliance store sent out a technician - he said it needed to be replaced as it's a fire hazard. I was told that a replacement was going to be delivered and they never showed up. I spent 2 hours on the phone with GE and literally spoke to 7 people only to be transferred back to where I began. Then GE sent out a tech who said it should be fixed. Then GE gave me the runaround, telling me I had to de-install the microwave for them to repair it. It's still not fixed. This is a garbage company. Do not buy anything from them.
