Missed appointment. Did not call. Did not go into the leasing office. New fridge one month old. Tech said no one was home when he had the leasing office address and no one saw him come in. Service has the nerve to offer another appointment 7 days later. Happened on the last call as well. They missed 2 appointments that were also for a brand new fridge. Junk products. Junk company. Junk service.

Absolutely bogus service service. I scheduled a service appointment online, only to find out that the provider scheduled was not real. We waited all day only to find out that the scheduled service was B.S. The name exists for a provider on the opposite coast, the address provided is a residential address, and the phone number was not in service. Looking back on line with the confirmation number, the website now states there is no service appointment! Stay away from GE garbage and their B.S. warranty.

Three weeks ago, our washing machine leaked a huge amount of water, causing water damage to the floor around it. The product was still under warranty, so we called up the GE Canada service number and got an appointment for the following week. That day comes and the technician calls me at 8am asking what the issue was. We already told the customer service person when we made the appointment, but okay. I tell him the problem and send him a photo of the model sticker. He says he won’t come in that day because he knows 100% what’s wrong with our washing machine and he needs to order the part. It’ll take 2-3 days. 2-3 days later, on September 29th I get a call from a GE service rep. They got the part in, but the next available appointment is on October 13. Because the tech had a family emergency and wasn’t available that week. Apparently there was absolutely no other techs available either. Really weird if you ask me, but we took the appointment and did our laundry for the next 2 weeks at the laundromat. Today was the day of our October 13th appointment. No call, no show. Not only that, my boyfriend spent the entire day between work calling GE, the service company, the tech’s number, but couldn’t get through. When he finally got through at 5pm after 50 mins on hold with GE, they tell him the appointment is valid and the tech should be coming by today. They have no other info somehow? Where is the tech? What time will they be coming? It’s already 5pm, but apparently “they work until 9pm”. So we’re expected to sit here from 9am to 9pm waiting for them I guess? “They should’ve called you” well, they didn’t and all our calls to them went to voicemail so I do think it’s your job to know what’s going on, right? Literally, what are we supposed to do. Anyways, no they didn’t show up, nor call, nor email. I sent an email to the GE service email at 3:30pm as originally we were told we were to hear from the tech between 9am and 3pm. No response to that email yet, either. At this point, what are we supposed to do? Legitimately. We have no idea what’s going on. We have a broken washing machine and the nearest laundromat is a 30 min walk away. What was the point of us saving for months to buy a washing machine only for it to last less than a year and damage our floors? Oh, and to top it all off, our warranty with GE expires next week. That’s very convenient for them, I think.

I bought a brand new GE dryer and the latest one also GTD6, from the first day the delivery destroyed my front brick step and unplugged my freezer without telling me for hours. I called support and they treat you like its your fault, why do i have to repair a new unit if im buying a new unit to get rid of repairs on my old unit. The manager Juan at GE for service treats customers with the upmost disrespect he can possibly give like ending the call in your face when you ae frustrated stay away from this bulshit GE.

I have three ovens the same model bought at the same time. You cannot turn the oven on bake and then checkthe timer when it is preheated. They say you need to set bake time. Do you just guess how long before the oven is preheated?

If there were negative number to rate, I would give -100, worst customer service, there are 2 parties involved in warranty support, GE and another one, may be third party to schedule the appointment, and they say 2 different things. already wasted 4 hours on the phone and still not able to talk to them, WORST SERVICE WORST SERVICE

I purchased a portable AC unit which was not packaged with the required air filter. I emailed 4 times and no one had the courtesy to reply to the emails. I phoned to be told you only have 7 days to notify them of missing parts, but there was NO note to that effect inside the box. I received an apology and the nearest shop where I had to purchase one. Big 0 for customer service. Will never order anything GE again.
