Bought a microwave 14 months ago. Called customer support 6 months ago because the microwave kept shutting off. It's apparent to me that GE does not stand behind their products. If anyone wants a broken microwave that was hardly used, you're more than welcome to come get it.

Will NEVER buy another GE product after the ordeal i just went through with a new refrigerator. Didnt work properly as in lost all my food due to un-thawing. Evidentally GE cares so much about their customers that they only cover up to $100 of lost items and I lost near $300. You sold a bad product yet I had to pay the price and then some! They didn't even have the respect of talking to me. Spoke with the secretary at appliance store who relayed info. NICE! Trust me, I'm spreading the word. NO MORE GE PRODUCTS!!!!!

I really like it when I'm able to write positive reviews about customer service. GE has little to no respect for their customers after the point of sale. I had contacted them several weeks ago about a brand new washing machine of theirs that needed to be looked at. They informed me that they would need to use a third party to send somebody out and I haven't heard back since. I got a new washing machine because the old one didn't work. I should have saved the money or taken up recreational $20 bill shredding as a hobby. Very close to 1k all so that I can keep not doing my laundry at home.

I worked for General Electric after graduating college in mid 1990's. I was eager to work for GE in Fort Myers, Fl. However; I soon realized with the people that were promoted and fired that GE was not only a company that manufactured low quality product, but as with most U.S. Corporations, is racist! BEWARE!!

My dryer went out after 4 months. The first service appointment was 1 week out. The technician came out and said the part would be in fast but he couldn’t come back to install the part for another week. Customer service was horrible when I called to complain. There’s only 1 technician that services my huge area & I just need to deal with not having a dryer for 2 weeks. I received a text saying that I would be notified when my follow up appointment would be scheduled, but the part was delivered 2 days ago & ive yet to hear about a follow up appointment. So I’m still waiting to have my new dryer fixed & I should be “happy because some customers wait 1-2 months to have theirs fixed”. That’s what customer service told me

I purchased all new appliances from GE for my new kitchen in 2004. Within the 1st 3 weeks the refrigerator completely stopped working. I called GE to get it repaired. It took them 2 weeks to send a repair man and when he came he had to order the part. A week later i was informed the part was on national back order with no time frame for its availability. I requested a new unit but was denied for 3 more weeks. Finally after several more calls they agreed to replace it. Then they told me it was going to take 2 more weeks to get it and install it. Also, the dish washer completely stopped working after about 14 months and was leaking. The parts were so expensive i bought a new one to replace it. DO NOT BUY GE APPLIANCES !!!!!! They are HORRIBLE
