This review is not about the customer service. It's about the company not standing behind their product. I have a 2 year old washing machine that the steel bolt holding the agitator down rusted through and broke. I know how to extract a bolt but this was rusted to the motor. The bolt was steel and seeing how it would go through wet to dry conditions rotted solid. I have the broken bolt. For .25 cents more they SHOULD have used stainless steel. I called GE and they are holding their ground that is has passed warranty. I used penetrating oil, heat and a quality bolt extractor and this bolt was not budging. I'm far from done with GE at this point. Next stop CEO.

The company Bodewell that was given the job of reprogramming my dryer after a power failure cost me $185.92. That is ridiculous for the small amount of laptop computer time spent by technician to reprogram. I feel ripped off…this dryer should not be so sensitive to power failure that it crashes….this will be my last GE product…used to have a great reputation. I spent a lot for this dryer and being on fixed income I can’t afford these kind of issues.

We purchased a GE refrigerator/freezer 4 years ago when we built our new home. I have had to super glue the handle on the bottom freezer a few times. The ice machine does not work. I hope we can get 2 more years out of it.

I just recently bought new construction brand new appliances about a year and seven months ago a few people in this development already have problems with GE from the door experience. My dishwasher is not staying on shutting off. I shut the breakers. I close the door well etc. it is not under warranty no longer, don’t understand how dishwasher brand new could already be malfunction. They want to charge me $114 to come out just for the service call I never have problems with my whirlpool or my other appliances in the past. This is unacceptable 17 months ago. Everything was brand new now I wonder if my other appliances are going to fail that this place with the GE appliances very unhappy.

Lint Issues and oil leakage onto my clothes with this GE Spacemaker dryer.

I bought a brand new GE washer and dryer July4th 2021.Within 6 months I had to have the latch replaced. Today August 30th I went to put clothes in the dryer only to find that my washer will not spin. I tried to restart the machine and it will not fill. I am so unhappy with this purchase due to it breaking twice in a year and a month. It has almost cost me as much to fix this machine as it cost to buy new. Not a happy customer

I purchased a new GE gas dryer. It did not work properly day one. GE could not or would not provide warranty repair in my area. After three months of phone calls, escalation and wrangling, they reimbursed me for the cost of the dryer, less, haul away, installation, gas installation kit, etc. The repair of this unit required three service trips and cost nearly $450, requiring replacement of three different components that were defective WHEN NEW!!!! What kind of quality is a factory fresh unit that has multiple defective parts?

Will NEVER buy another GE product after the ordeal i just went through with a new refrigerator. Didnt work properly as in lost all my food due to un-thawing. Evidentally GE cares so much about their customers that they only cover up to $100 of lost items and I lost near $300. You sold a bad product yet I had to pay the price and then some! They didn't even have the respect of talking to me. Spoke with the secretary at appliance store who relayed info. NICE! Trust me, I'm spreading the word. NO MORE GE PRODUCTS!!!!!
