No tax total could be fraud
I read the reviews here on Trustpilot. I have to agree to be careful about fraud. I did not buy any shoes but as went to check out it did not give me a tax total. Said tax will be totaled after I pay. This is not the normal way to pay for online products, so it made me suspicious. Glad I checked here on Trustpilot. Also, each time I visited the site the countdown restarted to 59 minutes before sale expires. Another red flag.

The rubber smell is horrendous
The rubber smell is horrendous. I left them out of the box for a couple of days but no improvement. They smell like tires do. The company states they are made of leather. That is a lie. They look great in the picture but in reality, they look fake. Never again will I purchase from Gatsby. I would like to give it zero stars.

Great shoe
I'm sorry other's have had a bad experience, mine is good. The shoes shipped quickly considering they came from China. Two weeks before Christmas and the bf absolutely loves them. He put them on right after opening and kept them on all morning. He walked around in his pajamas wearing them, then put them back on after putting on his clothes. Kept bragging how comfortable they are and how he now needs another pair in black. I appreciate all this because I'm a huge skeptic when it comes to ordering overseas. Thanks for the experience. If I could give ZERO stars
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Similar story to others here, I should’ve checked reviews before I purchase. I ordered 2 pairs in a US size ten. They sent me US size 11s claiming a Hong Kong size difference…which is not true. Regardless, I didn’t order in Hong Kong size, I ordered in US size, so clearly they lack the ability to accurately translate sizes. In contact I’ve email with customer support, and I use that phrase lightly for a full refund. 1/2 way there only. DO NOT recommend purchasing from this company.

I just got a pair of these for…
I just got a pair of these for Christmas & right away I could tell they were a cheap Chinese knock offs. I tried them on & they were so snug/tight & soles were paper thin. I have been suffering for years with plantar fasciitis, so I don’t buy or wear cheap shoes. These are not Orthopedic, so they need to stop with that lie! Needless to say they will be returned ASAP

Fraud appearance and wrong sizes of shoes
I ordered a pair of shoes from their online shop at gatsbyshoes.de and assumed they were German, as there is also an adress in Berlin mentioned. But that's all fake. Tje shoes are China made. Mine came in wrong size. I ordered EU size 44 and received a pair in 46. Customer service claims they are Hong-Kong size 46 and supposed to match EU 44. But that's not true. 44 is 27.9cm in length. These are 32cm. They refuse to exchange the shoes or give money back. Well, they offer 50% of the amount or thatbI ship them in return to an adress in the US (which costs 30 Euro from Germany). The response is swift though, but not very helpful.

These may be the cheapest shoes made. I ordered 2 pair, and wear them at most 1-2 times per week. In less than a year I have had to superglue the sole to the upper for all 4 shoes. I definitely will not be buying another pair of Gatsby shoes.

Wonderful company and shoes! 👞
I had originally posted a not raving review about Gatsby Shoes due to the fact that I didn’t receive updates about where the shoes I ordered were in the process. The company reached out to me immediately and took care of everything! I received everything and in great shape! My son loves his shoes and they are very nice! I will definitely order from them again! I was extremely impressed by how much they really do care about their customers! Definitely a company that is passionate about making sure the customer is always taken care of! I think maybe I was a little too impatient for my order! Thank you!
