Website is confusing.
Website is confusing. Don't sell the Freshpet Tender Chicken for Small Dogs - Roasted Meals. I can't find it, tried searching in search bar, but comes up with nothing. But they have sold it from shops like tesco. But I can't even find petfresh anywhere in stores now. Put me off.

Our cat wouldn’t touch it
Our cat wouldn’t touch it. He is quite fussy but I then gave the bag to my mum whose cat will eat just about anything, but she wouldn’t touch it either, so had to throw it out.

Hi James, We’re sorry to hear that your pet didn’t enjoy the taste of one of our cat recipes. Whenever making a change in diet, it’s important to do so gradually to help avoid digestive upsets or food refusals, which can sometimes happen when a new food is introduced too quickly. When feeding Freshpet for the first time, we recommend mixing a small amount of it with your pet’s current food and gradually increasing the proportion of Freshpet over time. This can help your pet adjust to the new flavor and texture. Feel free to explore our website for other recipes that might be a better fit for your cat: https://www.freshpet.com/en-gb We hope this helps! -Jillian

Good - but eat quickly!
Good - but Eat quickly! i did feed Freshpet food to my pom for a few months. I had to start freezing it in very small portions at a time to prevent it from going bad when my pet got sick at some point. It may or may not have been a Fresh Pet issue. It is hard to tell - My decision to revert to a different food is based on the fact that I still feel that the food does not keep long once open - so special attention as to how one manage the portions is important.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about your dog and hope they’re feeling better. Freshpet is made to provide fresh, wholesome nutrition, but we understand your concerns about shelf life and your pet’s reaction. If you can share additional details, we’ll gladly forward them to our Quality Assurance Team for review. Freezing in small portions is a great way to maintain freshness! Should you give Freshpet another try, we’d be happy to provide more storage tips. We look forward to hearing from you soon. -Jillian

Great dog food.
My dog is the epitome of a fussy eater. Eventually I found freshpet, he enjoyed the chunky chicken with vegetable, however this one has been discontinued. I've tried all of the new recipes, but my ultimate fussy dog won't eat them. I'm yet to find a replacement food that he will eat 😞

Absolute waste of money
Absolute waste of money, my cat wouldn't touch this food and even the strays and foxes ignored it when I put it outside 😑

I am not sure what this food is made of…
I am not sure what this food is made of but not as expected. Having to chop large chicken pieces into smaller pieces for a small dog, I noticed the cut pieces resembled cut cheese rather than chicken. Is this a remake of "pink slime". Can anyone identify where the expiration date is on the chicken bag packaging? If this is real food and it will go bad, it needs a date!

Hi David, thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We're sorry to hear that our food didn’t meet your expectations. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the quality and safety of all our recipes. Could you please let us know which chicken bag recipe you’re currently using? As for the expiration date, it should be clearly printed on the back packaging. If you're unable to locate it or have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We're here to help and ensure the best experience for you and your pet! -Jillian

A treat for our furry foodie
Our puppy Gravy is very food-motivated so food plays a big role. After noticing that most dog treats lack nutritional value, we've started preparing most of his meals at home. Trying Freshpet has been great - it not only looks like real, wholesome food, but it’s also something Gravy loves! Perfect addition to his diet.

I recently received my order from…
I recently received my order from Freshpet, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product. It arrived on time, well packaged, and chilled as recommended. My dog is absolutely thrilled with it. In fact, when we ran out, he refused to eat only kibble again! The Freshpet food has significantly improved his digestion issues, and he no longer gets itchy. I highly recommend Freshpet and will definitely continue to buy from them.
