The one and only time I ever bought this food for my dog, I *thought* it smelled extra fragrant but considered it part of the brand. My dog got food poisoning. He was firing from both ends for over a week and the resulting vet bill eventually amounted to $2000. DO NOT buy Fresh Pet Dog Food. It's anything but.

I recently contacted Freshpet online delivery. as my dog's diet currently includes their Home Cooked Chicken recipe. i thought it would be awesome and convenient to have it delivered to my home. too bad I'm not going to enjoy that luxury, as FreshPet online ONLY includes 5 newer choices of FreshPet, but not the one my dog loves. side note, FreshPet online also ONLY ships small 1-1.5 lb bags. guess that works for smaller dogs, also sounds like Freshpet online delivery doesn't care much about our bigger dogs :( p.s. wow, the new shredded chicken they recommended I replace my dog's current food with is 2x the cost, literally!! guess I'll shop for my dog's food at Shoprite ;)

I ordered food for half of dogs meals and was sent with instructions and volume for whole meal leading to significant over feeding.

I HAVE 4 CATS OF DIFFERENT AGES AND BREEDS. THEY ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EAT "FRESHPET." AS PER YOUR "GUARANTEE," I WANT A REIMBURSEMENT OF $6.99 PLUS TAX. PURCHASED AT SAFEWAY. REIMBURSE: PATRICIA COOMER, 1626 E. LA PUERTA, COTTONWOOD, AZ 86326 A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!

We have our order with Freshpet on a subscription basis. For the third time in a row Freshpet has failed to deliver the customer service to a tolerable level and left us having to use alternative dog food. The latest let down is that Freshpet do not know where our order is and can only offer a refund or a delivery next week! We have also struggled to have our concern escalated to management. We are now waiting for manager to return our latest phone call on the issue. P.S. The Freshpet fridge a our local Tesco supermarket is constantly empty.

I wish I could leave a negative review. This is the 3rd time im going through this. They jeep sending me what I told them my dog cant handle. This is the third time they are sending ne shredded chicken after I asked not too. Im canceling n going to a more expensive brand. Maybe they won't try to kill my dog.

Never received the food and 3 weeks later still waiting for the refund.

Just got off the phone with Freshpet… perhaps the worst customer service in my experience. Long story short.My small dogs enjoy the food. However, someone on Freshpet’s team miscalculated the number of bags we needed. One box arrived when I was home, the second two my dog sitter refrigerated and froze due to the volume. Arriving home, I had to throw out 10 bags of expired food. The six bags in the freezer may be inedible. I presently have two unexpired bags in my refrigerator . I asked for a refund for the expired food which was due to sending considerably more than needed. The customer service person was extremely difficult to understand…seemed to want me to take pictures of the expired food which is in the outside trash. I also asked to change my order…quite a procedure on their end. After 25 minutes of getting nowhere, I asked that my subscription be canceled immediately. What a fiasco.
