Flyachilles uses deceptive practices
I made a purchase on Saturday when you have no in person business hours. I had been interested in a solar powered spotlight I saw at your website for several days. On Friday I decided to buy it because you were offering a code, FLY20 for $20 off ANY PURCHASE AMOUNT. When I tried using the code while checking out I was told it did not apply to the item in my cart.
I tried using the chat but that got me nowhere. I tried calling your number on Saturday but you only answer the phone M-F. I was reluctant to buy the item, but against my better judgment since I felt the code was deceptive and maybe your company was as well, I made the purchase. For that reason I am unhappy with my experience to date.
I contacted Flyachilles on Monday, May 26 by phone to follow up with an email they sent me late Sunday night. While they apologized for my having had a bad experience and offering me an additional $10 "in good faith" (I don't see evidence of this additional $10 discount as of yet ) and asking me to take down my negative review, the person I spoke to today in customer service lied to me about my not trying to use the code FLY20 in checkout and having it denied, then lied about being able to use "multiple coupons to get more discounts". She also said I should have contacted them when I was experiencing the problem with the order, knowing fully well their customer service was closed at that time. She was rude and argumentative so I hung up on her.
I will definitely not use this business again!

I understand you were trying to apply the FLY20 discount code to your order, and I’d like to clarify the situation for you. Upon reviewing your order, we noticed that you had previously applied the FY10 code, which provided a $10 discount, bringing your total from $99.99 down to $89.99. As per our policy, only one discount code can be applied per order, which is why the system did not allow the FLY20 code to be used in addition.
However, after your conversation with our support specialist, we wanted to honor your request and ensure you receive the full $20 discount as originally intended. As such, we’ve processed an additional refund of $10 to your payment method. We have sent proof of this refund and your purchase where the FY10 code was applied for your reference to your email. Please confirm receipt.
Also note that the refund we initiated today on your behalf may take 3–5 business days to reflect in your credit card account, depending on your bank's processing time.
