Floor and decor is apparently suing someone for a bad debt, despite their billing address listed correctly on their bill statement (viewed court document after numerous harassing contacts) it seems Floor and decor has sent their legal goons on a wild goose chase to the wrong address.

Called and inquired for items needed
Called and inquired for items needed. Spoke with Jonathan who was absolutely outstanding! Phenomenal service. However, the cashier was abrupt and when I got to the pick up area for the tile order the young lady at the far left told me it would take 2 - 4 hours to pull my order. The other end of the counter an older woman made a snarky remark at me that they should request a particular manager because she is more assertive. I am absolutely appalled at the horrific service. I spoke with one manager and gave her a compliment on Jonathan's service. Due to his excellent service I drove 2 hr 45 mins to the Cumming store. Once I left his care I was treated with such disrespect and rudeness I asked for the manager again. I told the manager what they said about her to me a customer. Outrageous at best. I will most likely never return to this location unless necessary. The Knoxville store goofed up my order and removed items that I had paid for and the service was sub par by the gal in the black vest who couldn't count how many boxes were taken out of my order. Seriously disgusted with the Knoxville store pick up that occurred on 3/24/23.

Procedures for Purchasing and Delivery of Tile
I purchased some Tile a few weeks ago from Floors & Decor and the service was Horrible. The information on how to purchase Tile was incorrect. The process from delivery of the Tile was incorrect. The process for the initial pick up was confusing. Then finally after we picked up the Tile and delivered it to our home the Boxes started separating as a result of the Boxes getting Wet and Dry Rotting. We took Tile back the pickup and Delivery section of the Store and were told that some Boxes are like that it just depends on where they came from. This particular Tile was make in Brazil. However, that should not be an excuse. Anyway, after two days of frustration we met Ms. Justeen and Manager Mr. Rey. We cannot say enough of good Superlatives about these two individuals. They showed a high level of Professionalism and Pride in their Work that most Customers are looking for when shopping for various items. They swiftly took care of our problem and we were able to pickup a repackaged set of 38 Boxes of Tile. It’s people like Ms. Justeen and Manager Mr. Rey that should be recognized for their Professional Work and Willingness to get the job done. I would recommend that individuals like these two be separated and Recognized for their Positive Work performance and their Care for People.

The worst company ever
The worst company ever!
I had the Durlux vinyl flooring installed room by room in my new home over a period of a month until I halted the flooring project because I started noticing material defects in the floor. The defect are bends at the ends of the planks where the planks meet.
I started a claim which has taken forever. I had them send an inspector to inspect the floor (which by the way, they only allow you to use their certified flooring inspectors) and my contractor and I mentioned that the store we got it from also shows defects in all their displays for this line of vinyl flooring. Well, I'm almost 100% positive that the INSPECTOR WAS PAID TO SAY IT WAS An INSTALLATION ISSUE DUE TO EXCESSIVE FORCE (no site issues were reported). The inspector didn't do his job right. If he was a certified inspector, he would've done his research and gone not only to the store where we got it from but also to some of the other locations. He would have easily concluded that it was a material defect.
I was here to watch the last guy put in the back room and he didn't even use a mallet on the floor (which instructions say is allowed) and clicked the floor planks together before gently putting them down.
I fought on this report and so the representative in charge of my claim sent the report and my remarks to the manufacturer.
I went out of my way and visited 3 different stores to see if all those stores had the same defect I was seeing in my house. ALL 3 STORES SHOW THE DEFECTS IN ALMOST ALL THEIR DISPLAYS FOR DURALUX!!!
The funny thing is, when I went back to the original store I got it from, they had a sign saying that they were going to have new displays up. I guess someone called them and told them about my claim cause the other stores I visited didn't say they were getting new displays. I didn't report those stores until after the report was sent to the manufacturer.
I get back an email today saying the manufacturer says that they are standing by the inspector's report and saying that even the stores used too much force. I had 5 guys work on my house for the floor. My contractors had the same floor put down in another home and they are also showing defects. So, basically, Floor and Decor is saying that every guy putting down flooring is using excessive force?
BTW, Duralux is exclusive to Floor and Decor which means it's their product.
All the other brands for flooring show no defective signs. JUST THE DURALUX!
I hope that many of you looking into the Durlux read this bad review and trust me that this product is awful.
I have already shooed away customers looking at the Duralux during my visits to see the defects and told them about my troubles with this claim I'm wrapped up in.
AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY. This was my first time purchasing from them, and it will be the last. Pass the word. I've told all my friends and family that this company is crap. I'm not giving up until Floor and Decor rectifies this situation.

Great designer help
I shopped at the Colony TX store today looking to match and replace my shower floor. Our original tile was out of stock but Miss Cindy looked at my photos and helped pick out a new coordinating tile. She even walked us around the store and showed us grout options. Miss Cindy was patient, kind, extremely helpful and she knew her stuff. I would totally recommend her designer services.

Horrible defective flooring
Horrible defective flooring. NuCore is the worst. Denting and planks not staying together everywhere. Had it professionally installed but as many of you know Floor and Decor does not stand by their products or warranty. You can all see why they have an F rating on BBB as well as many bad reviews elsewhere. Stay away from this company as many others are having issue with NuCore and other products Shop elsewhere as you will be much happier. Shame on you Floor and Decor as you take advantage of unsuspecting customers. FYI for all the customers who have had issues with duralux/NuCore please go to the Houzz app as we are having a lawyer looking into filing a class action lawsuit. The contact is a women named Amy and she has a lawyer looking into all the people who have the same issues. They are taking names of the customers who have experienced no warranty because of install issues. Ridiculous. How can this many people have the same issue.

UNTRUSTWORTHY
UNTRUSTWORTHY. Sorry to add to the growing number of complaints about this awful store but we’re hoping to save others some headaches. Prices and selection at Floor & Decor are irresistible but not when you consider hidden policies and bad service. We had two bad experiences in less than a month.
First issue: We spotted a tile that had been marked down half from what we paid a few days before. When we showed our receipt to recoup the difference the clerk told us we were out of luck, started lecturing, and eventually told us we could bring the tile back, return it, and then purchase it again to get back the savings (translation – travel back home, load the stacks of tile back into the truck, travel to Floor & Decor, unload the tiles into a cart, cart the tiles back into the store, refund, purchase, and then cart the tiles back to the truck, load the tiles into the truck, travel home, unload and restack the tiles). Over $110 gone.
Second issue: We tried to return 13 tile trim pieces we didn’t use and were told that we couldn’t get a refund because “the case was open”. We’d bought the 13 remaining trim pieces in a box that was already open. Turns out that Floor & Decor had charged us for a full case and, not that it should have mattered, will not provide refunds on open cases. Tried to explain to the clerk that the box we used had been opened and that we were falsely charged for a full case (15 pieces) but she couldn’t be bothered. We’d never seen an employee so disinterested in helping a customer, unapologetic, smug (we saw her do the same thing to an older fellow the previous Saturday morning). Over $40 gone.
You won’t find a customer service counter at Floor & Decor. In the meantime we’ll continue spreading the word about Floor & Decor and have already talked one contractor out of ever using them again (he was already on the fence). Fortunately Albuquerque has many great choices for floor and tile stores!
