My husband and I went to Floor and Decor in Peachtree City looking for tile for a guest bathroom. We were new to this new store. We were paired with KeKe. KeKe is personable and has a good attitude. We told her about what we wanted. She was patient and walked us through tiles that matched our vague specifications. Any question we had she answered or went to find an answer. We bragged on KeKe to Sam, he was were complementary of her. Sam was nice and helped load our truck. Sam and KeKe have benefitted from good Customer Training.

Floor and decor no more
Floor and decor reassured us repeatedly that we could return any unused tile that we bought. Until they wouldn’t take it back. They are clean. They have a 90 day return policy. Well, they didn’t when we bought the tile because we asked again and again and again, if we could return the unused tile. And we were reassured repeatedly, that we could return the tile.
Shop somewhere else! Or, if you must go to floor and decor, caveat emptor

Defective Flooring
My builder used Floor and Decor to put in a hardwood floor in our house. The wood warped before we moved in and the whole thing had to be replaced. The builder paid someone else to re-install the flooring just before I moved in. The floor, once again, is warping and bubbling up. I feel like I am on fun house floors. Floor and Decor sent out their "third party" person to check it out and deemed it not their fault because I have "some humidity" in my house. I live in the south. When is there NOT humidity? The whole flooring is coming up. It's unacceptable. They refuse to replace it and now I am living in a house with a wavy floor. It's embarrassing to watch my family and guests constantly trip over the popped-up floorboards. It's horrible that I'm being told that their product is not the problem when it now has to be replaced twice! Now I am left to pay for a complete home floor replacement elsewhere.

Highly recommend Floor & Decor
Highly recommend Floor & Decor! Not only do they have a wide range of material to choose from but their customer service is above and beyond! I ran into a hiccup with my renovation where the floor on display was labeled wrong. After picking it up and bringing it back to my studio, I realized it was the wrong material. I was in a full blown panic for I was in a time crunch to open my business. Jaime fixed EVERYTHING. She made it possible for the right flooring to be delivered, while picking up the other flooring, and waved the delivery charged. Because or her, I am back on track to open my business on time. Jaimie is the BEST and single handedly saved my business. I plan on being a floor & decor customer for life. Any store can have good material but the excellent customer service makes all the difference. Thank you Jaime!

Get REAL wood flooring--or REAL carpeting.
After getting lvp installed and using Shaw's and the microfiber mop 'system' for cleaning it, the floors become LESS dull, LESS smudged. But it's just that a dull finish, aka, matte finish or satin finish, aka, rather dull finish looks like a cracker barrel store floor no matter what you do. Can't add polish to shine it up--experts say it'll leave a film. But at the VERY least, one would hope that lvp would FEEL less grainy and dirty underfoot. Following expert advice that you MUST dust every day to keep sand and grime from dulling your floor (even further), when you look at the floor closely, aka, if you accidentally drop something and bend down to pick it up, you seen TONS of crumbs, bits and pieces that are still left on the floor. Have to get down on all fours EVERY DAY to have a clean floor. Makes you long for the days of vacuuming twice a week. Damp mopping helps to make lvp floors look less crackerbarrel-ish, but not much. Film or no, I'm about ready to throw some high gloss stuff on it, so at LEAST it'll look nice SOME of the time. Advice: If you want a beautiful floor, get REAL wood. It'll be similar upkeep, but at least will feel and look great.

Used Markell at the Gurnee
Used Markell at the Gurnee, IL store. Had a great experience with him. His suggestions were spot on as well as his estimates.
