Dear First Horizon Bank Management,
Dear First Horizon Bank Management, I am writing to complain about my experience at your West Plano branch, located at 2500 Dallas Parkway, Plano, Texas, when I visited to open a new account. At the front desk, I was told that opening an account would take more than an hour and that walk-ins were not encouraged. I was instructed to make an appointment instead. While I understand that appointments may be preferred, the employee’s dismissive tone and attitude made me feel unwelcome and as though my business was not valued. Rather than helping me schedule an appointment or explaining alternative options, I felt I was simply turned away. Please clarify whether First Horizon has an official policy discouraging walk-in customers who wish to open accounts. If so, this information should be clearly communicated in advance. I also request that management investigate this incident, review the employee’s conduct, and reinforce the importance of treating prospective customers courteously and professionally. I came to the branch prepared to become a customer but left feeling dismissed. Please provide a written response explaining how this matter will be addressed.
