We’re so sorry to hear we missed the mark! That's definitely not the Fender experience we want you to have.
We know some time has passed but we hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future and our Gear Advisor team would love to help you with any questions or issues you may have.

They’re really not bothered about customers
I ordered a Mustang Micro from Fender UK on the 7th September.
Payment was taken on the 8th and the item supposedly dispatched with UPS on the 9th.
On the 13th I checked the provided tracking number. The UPS website said delivery would be the next day (14th) between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
I waited in on the 14th - no delivery.
I checked again the following morning (15th) and the website showed that as of 9.07am the item was “out for delivery” from the local depot in Glasgow and was due with me between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
I waited in again - no delivery.
The delivery date still shows the 15th - it’s now the 20th - and shows the item is in Germany, while I live in Scotland.
Phoning UPS bounces you back to the website.
Fender haven’t provided any update despite promising to do so.
Utterly appalling service

I will never buy another Fender product…
*** Well, guess what!!?!
I did buy another Fender product. Bought the Tone Master 59 Bassman Tweed. I paid over $1500 for it just about a year ago. I have one more year on the warranty and I’m just hoping and praying it doesn’t break after that. Friends of mine have used the Tone Master Twin Reverb and love it, so that’s why I bought another Fender product.
Since writing that review, I have retired from broadcast engineering and I’ve devoted myself to repairing tube amplifiers, a discipline that I went to high school for 52 years ago. Understandably, Fender makes lower quality products for a consumer with a limited budget and to repair such products is pointless. This is just the way of the world. All devices are built with what I have called “built-in obsolescence“. A given product is only expected to live a certain “lifetime”. Naturally, some products are able to withstand years of use and others are not. Professional products should last for many years. That little 25 year-old Princeton I was complaining about, had apparently been abused. Still, it would’ve been nice to have some parts to fix it, but as it is, I have built two tube amps from kits, and I am repairing electronics and other things for my musician friends. Another thing I’m finding out is that a lot of these guys run their speakers, especially subwoofers at full volume. This really heats up the voice coil and starts melting the wax and insulating material inside. I was able to find a replacement for this one guys’ subwoofer but when I was troubleshooting, the speaker did not move at all. When I accidentally dropped it into the cabinet, it then loosened up and was moving back-and-forth, but the crackling and the grinding of that material inside the voice coil housing was pretty shocking. So my recommendation is not to run your subwoofers at full volume but at the most 50 to 60%.
Yes, four years and three months is quite a while to respond to a review but, as Mick would say, “it’s all over now”.

I will never buy another Fender product as long as I live. I bought a used Fender '65 Princeton solid state amplifier that was not putting out sound. Thought it would be something simple like output transistors but turns out not only were the transistors bad but the speaker SHORTED. 45+ years in the electronics industry, I've never seen a "shorted" speaker coil. Open? Yes! Tried to get replacement transistors and guess what? The transistors are OBSOLETE!!! Fender doesn't offer a substitute either. Tried to get in touch with an actual engineer but only a sales rep contacted me. Looking at the reviews about responses, I guess I should be grateful I got any response. GEEZ! GTH Fender Corp.!!!

I purchased a Fender Passport Event PA…
I purchased a Fender Passport Event PA system. Took it to a gig, plugged it in. It worked. Then it didn't. I tested the power supply and power cable on all other amplifiers; they worked fine. This one is a dud. I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow. I wonder what they will say?
The shop has replaced it with a new one. This works fine with good quality sound. I've changed my review from one star to three. If it had worked first time without needing replacement I would have given five stars.

Support Desk reacts quickly and constructively
This is a review of the Support Desk of Fender Play, but I assume the same also applies to other Fender areas since it is part of the same company.
I had an issue with the availability of Fender Play in my home country, and contacted the Support Desk.
A senior Gear Advisor answered my query almost immediately with a helpful response.
Too bad Belgium customers cannot sign up for Fender Play, but at least I received a quick response.

Bought 2 different guitars, both should have failed QC. Utterly useless build quality.
Bought a Nashville Telecaster, 3 frets have holes below the fret tang. Retailer ended up giving me some money off the guitar because QC seems really dubious these days and a replacement would probably have other issues.
Gave Fender the benefit of the doubt and bought a Vintera Stratocaster. Again 3 frets with gaps below the tangs however the high e string also is completely out of line and comes off the fretboard towards the body.
No more Fender guitars for me ever again, come on Fender you are destroying what was once a good brand. Do you still have QC?
