SCAM 100%
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I originally booked a flight for March then had to change it (remind you I paid for a flexible ticket).They never ended up changing my flight. I spoke with escalations they said all I had to do was contact customer service and they would change my flight with no fee (as long as it's in the same price range). They were going to charge me 200+ for the change when the flight was actually cheaper. Stay away from this place. they are a scam - don't even buy into the escalations email they don't help either. I'm out so much due to this company. They said they didn't charge me anything extra but they did charge me an additional 160.00. STAY AWAY I'm updating this to respond to the reply from farescan. No one has called me and no one has emailed me. I sent an email to the below noted email (twice) no response.

Absolutely STAY AWAY from this SCAM of…
Absolutely STAY AWAY from this SCAM of a company! Even though most airlines are offering full refunds due to the fact that flights have been cancelled due to COVID-19, this company will REFUSE to give you your money back. One woman I spoke with even hung up on me when I questioned her and then continued to hang up on me 10x or more when I kept calling back to speak with someone. This "company" is clearly a fraudulent set up just trying to hold on to their last dollar as they take advantage of unsuspecting customers who were just trying to save a few dollars on their vacations. I have reported this company to the Air Travel Complaints Dept. at the US Dept. of Transportation and I encourage everyone else who has had such terrible dealings with them to do the same so they can be officially SHUT DOWN. AVOID purchasing a ticket from them AT ALL COSTS!!!

FARESCAN is a scam
As for everyone else here, I have been scammed by FARESCAN, with the same experience: The ticket I bought was never issued, the flight was cancelled and they refuse to reimburse me. I also have filed a complaint with the aviation consumer protection division department of transportation (google that to get there). They have an extremely rude customer service, have led me on for 2 months before finally sending me a message to say they wont reimburse me.

Unfair cancellation charge
Absurd cancellation charges, not following their own rules mentioned in their website for cancelling. Very rude customer service Anyone who has faced harassment from them , please file a complaint with U.S Department of Transportation , they helped me to resolve the issue with them. There is a very simple form by them where you fill the details and submit. They got back to me within reasonable time period. Trustpilot is not allowing me to post the direct link here. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM FARESCAN
DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM FARESCAN. They are scam and unhelpful. I have tickets with them through Interjet. Interjet is offering e-vouchers for COVID flight changes. The vouchers are for 1 year from the time of requesting a voucher. Farescan is only offering a voucher FROM THE TIME YOU PURCHASED YOUR TICKET. How does that work? I bought my tickets for my travel dates not my purchase dates. Stay far away from this company. Very happy to see others speaking out on here as well.

AVOID AT ALL COST
AVOID AT ALL COST. If I can give this company a negative review I would. I bought a ticket to Europe back in December and I was going to fly end of April with Turkish airlines. Turkish airlines canceled all of their flights and shut down their borders until mid-May. When I contacted farescan to change my flight they wanted to charge me an extra $500 to do so. The charge makes no sense, since every airline is offering no fee change policies including Turkish airlines due to a world wide pandemic. When I contacted Turkish airlines they tried to change my flight at no cost but they couldn’t finalize my flight because the flight confirmation information that farescan provided me with was invalid. So Turkish airlines asked me to ask farescan to contact them on the matter but farescan said no and hung up. When I called back to speak to a supervisor they said no. The second time they said the supervisor will call back in 15-20min which was a complete lie. They are obviously scamming their customers. It’s called price gauging since they are taking advantage of people during a world wide pandemic that no one has control over. It’s illegal. So do save yourself the headache and avoid buying through them. I have already contacted my bank to report fraud, have reported them to the aviation consumer protection division department of transportation (which has required companies to issue full refunds with no fees due to the pandemic), reported them to the business bureau for fraud and will be speaking with my lawyer for any solutions to this since they are obviously breaking their own policy, many consumer protection laws, and national traveling laws during a national pandemic.

Basically a scam
I had tickets from Turkish Airlines that I bought through Farescan. The flights got cancelled due to Coronavirus, but Farescan refused to give me any refunds or free replacement tickets. When I contacted Turkish Airlines directly and told them the problem, not only did they provide me with a free open ticket, but they accepted to refund me for the part of the journey that I would no longer be able to complete. Please do not use this company for buying your tickets. They are worse than scam artists, because they lie on behalf of the companies they sell tickets for on top of their own bad practices. I hope that they will get hit by a class action lawsuit for what they are putting their customers through.

Basically a scam
