FamilyGoKartsReviews of familygokarts.com

The entire experience has been enjoyable. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed and resolved. They’re respectful and patient, two things missing in this go-go-go world. When the desired product fell victim to too much demand without adequate supply, a very good alternative was suggested and the monies already paid were easily applied. They have definitely earned my business.

Thanks for the warning. I won't be using this company. 5-30-21 glad I decided to buy a 500cc

Old lady receptionist is very rude and should not be involved in customer service

First off, our kart was supposed to arrive for Christmas, but was delayed until late January. I know Covid caused issues, but they did not communicate anything to us. We had to track the unit down and help arrange delivery - which was also flawed as they sent a truck with a lift too small to bring it to street level, so we had to build a ramp to get it off the truck (4 hours gone!). The kart arrived with many issues, broken parts and without assembly instructions. It's taken months to get responses, they still have not shipped any of the necessary parts to fix the problem (even the safety buckles!!!), so the $4500 Christmas present is still useless. I would never buy from this place again.

The shipping of the product was cumbersome and required the threat of police action in order to accommodate the delivery. Additionally the lift gate service was subpar as the product was too large for the shipping agents vehicle. Upon arrival of the product, there was damage and missing parts which still has yet to be resolved.

The kids love their four wheelers! The assembly was a little Challenging because the instructions were vague and the wholes didn’t line up. The online instructions on your website were very helpful. The battery doesn’t give much strength, but overall we are pleased!

I received my product and I noticed a corner of the crate was pushed in. After unpacking the go kart I found damaged parts and paint. I filed a damage report and provided all necessary pictures and documents. The response when I finally received one was unbelievable. They blamed the trucking company and stated because I didn’t note it on the shipper receipt nothing they can do. Oh they can sell me the damaged parts at cost, no mention of adjustment for the damaged paint. I wrote them and explained (not that common sense would come in to play) hard to see any damage till product was unpacked! I tried contacting them by phone was repeatedly told we will call you back. Never happened just excuse after excuse. I never realized I purchased from the trucking company! Whatever happened to doing the right thing and take care of the customer. This purchase was not cheap $1400.00 hard earned. In closing if you have damage you are on your own, unless you have x-ray eyes and can see through the packaging!! I’m sure they don’t care about my review.

The delivery went well, the kart showed up ahead of schedule. You can definitely tell some of the components are cheaply made however. Th gas tanks bolts broke right off the motor so a new mount had to be made. Also the front end suspension is definitely not made for the abuse the machine is capable of. Plenty of power definitely throttle needs to be governed for kids use.
