One note: We can't give tax advice, and neither should the company you're receiving the settlement from. Completing a W9 is often a requirement of theirs but it does not mean anyone is telling you the settlement is taxable income. -MK

Hi Lee, I'm glad we were able to help you reach a settlement but sorry to hear this may not be happening as fast as you'd like. Once you sign a settlement with them, they are legally obligated to follow through on it. If they don't, our team can tell you what your options are. Log in to your dashboard at https://app.fairshake.com to chat live with them. And if you have any questions on what you agreed to with them you can also view and download the settlement document from there (Click "View Full Details" and then "View Offer PDF") AT&T has a record of delivering on settlements they sign with FairShake clients. It can take some time for them to deliver (as we say in our communications, 30 days is normal and up to 60-90 is common). And you have to make sure you complete any conditions of the settlement, such as if they send you additional documents to complete. You should also note whether they agreed in the settlement to provide you with a check vs. to credit your account. I hope this helps, -MK
