Ease of use. Price point for a coach with limited funds

My experience echoes what so many people here have experienced. I signed up, had my campaign approved and when I went to send my first message and I needed to purchase more credits to complete the send. I purchased the credits but then when I tried to send the message my campaign was all the sudden back in the review stage and the message wouldn't send. I was never able to resolve the issue and tried to get a refund for the credits that I purchased for the campaign and they've been giving me the run around for 4 weeks. This seems like the standard for this company, tell people they need to pay for credits for a campaign, they pay and try to send a message, then say the campaign is back in review, and never refund the money or send the messages for the campaign. The customer service is confusing and non-existent. Every time you try to contact someone, if you manage to get ahold of someone, they say you need to contact a different department (despite having only one email address available for support). It was the run around for 4 weeks. I then tried to dispute the charges in my online banking portal but that option wasn't available for this merchant. I actually hadn't seen this before, a merchant that went out of their way to remove the banking dispute option at customer's banks - I guess EZ Texting planned for this? Fortunately our company handles National Institutes of Health grant programs so we have excellent fraud protection through our commercial bank, but I did have to go in to the branch to finally get my money credited back to my account. Bottom line, do not use this company, there are other SMS providers out there that operate their business in good faith.

Setting this up was far more complicated than it needed to be, and I was immediately uncomfortable with the fact that they require a third‑party service to link to all of your bank accounts. Within minutes, I decided the service wasn’t for me. They still charged their fee and refused to issue a refund. When I tried to contact support, the chat system repeatedly pushed me further back in the queue after I explained I wanted to cancel. Only when I disconnected and started a new chat with a generic question — not mentioning cancellation — was I finally connected to a representative. The entire experience felt deceptive and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It took several days to resolve an issue with a frozen text input. This was mainly because there is no method of phone support and we had to wait between email responses to get action.

We signed up for EZ Texting, completed onboarding (including a Google Meet with their onboarding specialist), and received written confirmation that our campaign was approved. We followed their guidance and added additional credits mid-campaign to continue sending and responding to messages. Despite this, our account was blocked in the middle of an active campaign with no warning or prior notice. People were actively replying to our messages, yet we suddenly lost the ability to view or respond to those replies, making our business appear unresponsive. After the fact, support explained that carrier approval is part of a compliance review and that new accounts may be temporarily blocked while this review is completed. This was never disclosed during onboarding or prior to launch, even though our campaign had already been approved and payment was accepted. Blocking an account after approval and after accepting payment caused operational disruption and reputational harm. If you are running time-sensitive or high-stakes campaigns, be aware that service can be interrupted due to post-launch compliance reviews that are not clearly communicated upfront.
