Absolutely horrible company. Seemed like a good enough idea to sign up and I understood the premise but just didn’t work for what I was looking for. My account has now been closed almost a year and I am receiving charges to my other bank accounts from Extra. Per customer service they have verified that the account is closed but are unsure where the charges are coming from. They are unable to refund me or provide anything more than an apathetic email.

They can’t open my account. Can’t verified documents Very frustrating the way they handle everything Only place I couldn’t opponed an account for no reason at all

Customer Service, and that little personal touch that sets me at ease--IS what Extra is all about...I have just opened an account with them yesterday, but due to some unforeseen personal money issues, we (my wife and I) could not pay the up-front monthly maintenance cost... So I just decided to just close the account right then and there, and tried to proceed through the motions of acct. cancelation(what a drag, right?) Within an hour however, I was contacted by email by an Extra CS Agent. Long story-Short; He took the time to explain quite clearly how BAD an idea it would have been to proceed with cancellation. He didn't have to do that. He could have simply just put my account through the garbage disposal, and I wouldnt have found-out until much later that my already non-existent credit just took another hit. This WAS in fact the reason WHY I came to find Extra...to find an easier alternative to create NEW & POSITIVE credit lines. AMAZING!...already they were trying to save me from credit pitfalls--From Day 1. And to top it all off; they were understanding enough to defer payment for a brief time until I am able to rectify my finances, thus giving me all the time I need for me to actually accomplish that; AND all the while, letting me use my new account like normal PLUS my new Extra Debit/Credit card is still on the way--NO WAITING!(Whaaaat!?) Who DOES THAT?! These guys...Thats Who! So, for the kind consideration you guys have shown me, You have my Thanks, AND a Loyal Client. CHEERS!

I wish I could give zero stars. I had an order with Amazon that was suppose to be $0.00 because of the try before you buy and Extra have did a pre authorization transaction for $91 and they can not cancel the transaction. I don’t have much money in that account right now it will cause my account to be overdrawn. I am not happy at all.

I would stay away from this app. no number to call. if you don’t use your card for a while they will close it without warning and you can’t get a new account.

Been trying to cancel for a few weeks now..was promised I wouldn't be charged anymore and woke up to being charged once again..got some random person messaging me now asking for document upload after I've been communicating with Carmelo for weeks now..don't listen to your requests and will keep charging you even if you ask them to stop
