Terrible Experience with Express Passport
I placed an order while they were closed for business, and my Visa was charged $149. About 20 minutes later, while they were still closed, I discovered on the State Department website that their service would no longer be useful (passport was issued as a minor, and we would need to appear in person at a Passport Agency to renew it.) I emailed and left a phone message that I wanted to cancel the order, and have my $149 refunded. Their reply the next day was, "Sorry, no refunds for any reason (other than the $50 mailing fee that wouldn't be needed.) My question is, how can they possibly justify keeping my money, when no service has been rendered, and no time or effort has been put forth on their part? Their only service was charging my bank card. Their excuse of have "No cancellations for any reason" in their small print disclaimer is not sufficient.
