Honestly, I would give Zero stars if I could. I booked an out of state move with a company called Brightside Moving Group, and they apparently outsourced my move to Express Movers Services, Inc. to do the move. Over the phone when booking I said I needed approximately a 12-16 foot moving truck, I had multiple beds, dressers, nightstands, a hutch, shelves, and TV stand, in addition to boxed items - all of this was listed in my original quote. I was told the movers would come in, wrap my fragile items, take apart the furniture and load everything up for me, and this was all included in the price. None of that was true. The man that showed up reeked of alcohol, barely spoke english, and immediately started looking at my things saying I hadn't booked enough space. Even though the day before he arrived I confirmed the space with customer service from Brightside, and had condensed my items, including leaving behind a large dresser with a mirror, and TV stand. The man that came to my apartment did not measure ANYTHING just by looking he stated I needed to pay another $660, including $150 for wrapping my fragile items and dismantling furniture (which as I mentioned was supposed to be included in the original price). I told this man REPEATEDLY that I could not pay anymore money than I had already agreed to. I was moving out of an apartment that other members of my family were staying in, so I told him to take whatever he could for the original price and I would have the rest brought to me later, it could just stay there. This man refused to do so, and said if I did not pay the extra he was going to just leave, and I would lose my deposit of $940. Mind you, I had booked everything else for my move - shipping my car, and booking an RV to safely and comfortably move myself, my kids, and our animals, I could not have him just leave and have none of my things when I moved plus lose that $940, i had already spent SO MUCH money. He literally bullied me into paying the extra $660, but didn't actually give me extra space, because I still had to leave the 3rd dresser, 2 nightstands, a TV stand, and shelves that were in the original quote! Then, they assured me my belongings would be delivered in 5 days, BUT they were NOT delivered for 12 days! And when the delivery driver first messaged me he tried to say he couldn't pull a tractor trailer into the parking lot, which would've caused him to need to use a shuttle and cost me more money. I told him the man who delivered my car pulled his tractor trailer in so I didn't see why he couldn't... otherwise I don't think he would've even tried. I would give this company a 0 out of 10, and DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Absolute crooks DO NOT , and I mean DO NOT use this moving service! The absolute worst and most unprofessional business I’ve ever interacted with in my life!!

awful company, do not do business. Bait and switch pricing, items arrive late, caused thousands in damages and refuse to pay the settlement claim. Their customer service team is completely braindead.

Wish I had read the reviews before hand. This company is SOOOOOO BAD! Customer Service will literally just yell at you and give you an attitude. I don’t think I could be any more dissatisfied with this company. They should be shut down! I’m hoping my items don’t come broken/damaged as others have said but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they never come at all at this point.

If I could rate them a zero I would have. This company overcharged, did not deliver as promised, lost/stole, or damaged over $5000 in house furnishing, tools and antiques. They did not explain the paperwork I was signing and then after over 150 days only offered $268 as settlement. Lousy business.

Horrible experience. Firstly we booked through a vendor called Frontier Moving Solutions. Never work with them! We were charged $2500 some dollars for this move from MD to PA. We did a full inventory with Frontier and booked a full pack including 75 boxes with Express Movers. They didn’t even show on the decided date due to truck breaking down. They came the following day with the truck packed with other peoples things leaving about 1/4 of the space empty. They told us then they will not be packing liquids and asked us our priority. They only packed kitchen and our bedroom. Pack job was horrible. There was more paper in the boxes than actual items they said they wouldn’t be able to take. There were roughly 5 total guys, 3 of which had to sit in the back of the truck so we shorted space for our things. Despite all the inconveniences we tipped them $200 for their efforts and highly regret even tipping them Horrible, horrible company, if you have booked with them just go ahead and cancel and save yourself the headache. If you’re looking to book with them, then don’t.

They suck! Over promise and under deliver! They broke stuff of mine and took off without any accountability. I called them to discuss their irresponsible and careless employees and they blocked me.

Very bad👎They scammed me! I paid extra to have my very delicate and fragile belongings moved from Philadelphia to Miami, FL, and they lied to me. They didn't keep their word about assembling all the furniture and installing my TV on the wall. They arrived and just dumped the boxes like trash! Most of my things arrived broken, and they didn't take responsibility for any of it! They snuck away like thieves while I turned my back to send an important work email! When I came out of my room, they were gone, and they left everything unassembled, even though I paid extra for that service! They are crooks! Don't hire this company of shameless, despicable, abusive people! They charged me almost $6,000, and everything arrived broken! The nerve of them! And I have all the proof!
