I ordered two shirts May 13th as a ‘guest’ checkout, not logged in with an account and paid via PayPal. I did not receive a confirmation email with a receipt. I can’t check the status of my order on the website either. Luckily PayPal sent me an email with the description of the items I’d paid for and the details. I contacted Everlane about a week after and got no response. So far, two weeks after paying, no communication from them whatsoever. I understand there will be delays and I wouldn’t mind waiting a month or two, especially to support an apparent sustainable and ethical business, but after spending $240 and not having any guarantee of receiving my goods, I’ve submitted a request for a refund through PayPal.

Items never arrived, poor customer service
I ordered from the UK over a month ago. My products have still not arrived. The parcel tracking system proudly informs me that the parcel was deliveered two weeks ago.. to completely the wrong address in a non-residential location miles away from where I live. I have had no response to repeated emails and have struggled to find any other way of contacting them. Poor customer service. Stay away from Everlane.

Overseas order canceled within one hour - no shop credit/no response - just lost the money
I've placed an order from Europe with taxes and duties and right after pressing "buy" I noticed that there was a mistake. Near description of my order in my account there was a button "if you changed your mind cancel an order within one hour" with the explanation that an instant shop credit would be available for the next order immediately. So I pressed the button and canceled the order planning to place it again right away correcting the mistake. The order was canceled and any information about it disappeared from my account like it never happened, and so did my MONEY! I received neither shop credit, nor refund, nor response to my repeated emails. Nothing at all! After a long search I found in one of their FAQs that foreign orders are not eligible for instant credit. Wonderful to learn about it that way! For what are they eligible instead there was no indication. I assume for losing money completely or at best perhaps refund procedure that doesn't return taxes and duties (30% of the total cost). I feel that Everlane owed overseas customers a detailed explanation of what is going to happen right near that damn button "cancel the order". Also there's no phone number that one can call to be advised or hear a human voice saying "nope, tough luck, no money back for you, next time search for negative reviews on 3d party websites first than buy".

Do NOT visit Everlane's website
Do NOT visit Everlane's website. They will grab your information and blast you with emails, even after you request them to stop. It has been 14 days since I unsubscribed and they still email me s--t I want nothing to do with.

Almost 90 days now and no credit…
Almost 90 days now and no credit posting on my VISA account for shoes returned within a few days of receipt due to poor sizing.
Avoid this company— terrible customer service.

Garbage customer service
This shipment took an extremely long time to arrive with no warning as to how long it would take. There was SOME warning but it wasn’t 2 and a half weeks warning. When I reached out I got an automated response and Everlane did not take the blame they just said oh sorry we did such an AWESOME deal! Screw that, if you’re gonna put out a good deal then have the manpower to handle it. Every other small company I’ve ordered from during this time has had the decency to reply immediately or offer some sort of reason as to why I should order from them ever again, not Everlane! No wonder no one wants to work for the company. And I was offered no discount or apology just a crappy excuse. Thanks for being a waste of time Everlane.

I just wanted to chime in and say that…
I just wanted to chime in and say that I have not experienced significant delays on my Everlane order. I understand that COVID has impacted businesses (especially retail), and while I did experience some delay, it was not overwhelming. However, I will say that their customer service is hard to get a hold of, sadly.

Ok experience as an Australian shopper
Writing a review as an Australian online shopper, in case it helps anyone.
Tips: make the most of the free shipping for your first order. Pay using PayPal so that you can be reimbursed for return shipping costs.
There's a big difference between express and standard shipping. I qualified for free express shipping for my first order and it's amazing. My order was packed next business day and they shipped using DHL Express. Parcel loaded onto a plane over the weekend, and was delivered all up within 4 days. Faster than even domestic shipping via Australia Post.
I qualified for free standard shipping for my second order. It took about 2.5 weeks to arrive. They took about 2-3 days to pack. It was shipped using DHL eCommerce and tracking shows that it goes to distribution centres, bundled into a container probably with numerous other orders, and then shipped using Australia Post for the last leg. So if you need your items soon, best to use express shipping.
Returns are easy. You pay for and print the return label at home. It's sent to an APG warehouse in AU and only costs $12 (activate PayPal free return shipping before you order so that you can be reimbursed). Once it reaches APG, there doesn't seem to be a way to track further progress. So I have no idea when it will reach Everlane. Their website says even once they receive it, it takes 2-3 weeks for the refund to be processed.
They sent an incorrect item for one of my orders. Website instructions say email customer service with photos. After a week, still no response. Will update this review when this gets finally resolved.
EDIT: 3 weeks after I sent the email, all I got back was an automated email apologising them being overwhelmed with emails. Had to send back incorrect item at my own cost.
With the garment measurements on the website and ability to search reviews of other people with same body measurements, you are likely to get the correct size. I ordered jeans, which are always a gamble. The material may be different to expectations. The quality seems good for the price, if you get items on sale. Otherwise seems a little expensive (maybe due to exchange rate).
