I recently placed an online with a 15% discount. Waited over 6 days for my order which i did not receive. I rang up customer services who told me the item was out of stock. Why did the website not state out of stock and therefore not take my money. I did not receive any notification that the item was out of stock. I now have to wait for my refund. Very annoyed at the poor customer service. I could still be waiting for my order had i not contacted customer services

I love Estée Lauder foundations - they seem tailor-made for my skin, and are constantly being improved. A special congratulations on "Double Wear Nude", which is absolutely ideal for summer wear in the hot and humid climate where I live in Spain. My complaint is that Estée Lauder treats its Spanish customers like poor relations - it is slow to introduce new products here (if they ever do make an appearance), the prices are higher than in the UK (let alone the US) and the website is scanty on its special offers and freebies (compared with the US site). I do not buy in-store because, like other customers who have reviewed the company here, I do not appreciate condescending, bored treatment from ignorant assistants who know less about the products than I do who have been using them for over 30 years.

THIS PRIVATE COLLECTION FRAGRANCE is not like the ORIGINAL fragrance my mother, grandmother and myself had been using during the 70's and 80's. I have bought various Estee Lauder perfumes from you over the past few years and because unfortunately, I can NO LONGER buy the original Estee ???? for some reason so for Mothers Day bought bought what I thought was the "Original Eau de Private Collection" which I have not bought for over 20 years. I use Estee, Knowing, Beautiful and Private Collections - Tuberose Gardenia but have been on a waiting list for a very long time for the ORIGINAL ESTEEwhich is not longer available either. I have read Reviews that NOW say the NEW Estee is not the same as the old one. Women have written up that the New Estee Fragrance has changed, it does not last, they have asked to bring back the ORIGINAL ESTEE. I have had ONE SPRAY of this so called PRIVATE COLLECTION and it could be any cheap perfume from anywhere, Estee perfumes were once known to be the best in the world as far as we were concerned bu they are obviously changing the fragrance of them. I also used Chanel No 5 so may be it is worth going back to if Estee Lauder are changing their fragrances. I will not buy Estee any more after reading the Reviews and I will no longer use the Original Private Collection. Let me know how you wish me to return this, I will put on Face Book the out come of this.

Terrible attitude from staff after I dared to ask about an online offer on their john lewis website. I was in the JL store and asked the staff at the Estee counter about a reduced eyebrow pencil if it was in stock. Yes, why not ask the store when it is their item. Instead I was greeted with staff who said, perhaps you mean Elizabeth Arden or something cheaper? try boots! we don't sell cheap products here. notice the emphasis on cheap! I didn't not notice it, as they smirked and looked me up and down as if I was some reject, who can't afford their products. I have bought many over the years as I like classic make up. I won't be buying Estee again I don't like people looking down their noses at me for asking such a normal question. I was always taught to be polite to my elders and show them respect yet, it is hard to when they are treating you with such disrespect at a make up counter. Estee lauder being such a high end brand have lost my respect and custom. I don't go to buy products from counters where they bully you for asking a question and make you feel as if you are no better than soemthing stuck to their shoe and shoot vicious looks your way as you walk away. I therefore went and bought at MAC who treated me with respect as I leftt he store I noticed the Estee Lauder counter women still mocking gossping laughing and mimicking my movements rolling eyes tutting! yes how grown up they were. I am not blind as the glass when you walk out shows there reflection perfectly so I could see everything they were doing behind my back. I turned faced them to get their mouths drop as they realised I had seen their mocking. horrible service for such a great company if you want your company to decline carry on employing such rude people because the whole counter is always empty whenever I have walked past I wonder why? other counters I have been to have been kind and helpful. never again! what is awful about such high end companies is they won't even reply or apologise at all if they do it will be oh sorry! and nothing more to keep anyone's custom. if I walk past now the people on that counter sneer I am pretty sure they read the review. I dont care as customers shouldn't be glared at if they walk past the counter. They stomp around the store as if own the place and they aren't even managers. Terrible.

My experience with the Youth Dew Lauder fragrance; Musky Sensual Quality/ Value for money Lingering Sophisticated & Unique A little tends to go a long way!!

I love your products but the new foundation dispenser has to be turned upside down to get some of the last contents out. Also the Perfecting Loose Powder is now only 10g as opposed to the Lucidity Loose Powder which contained 21g and the price is similar. The lid of the Perfecting Loose Powder is unable to be removed so it's the same scenario as the foundation. There is a waste factor involved as is with the foundation. I have been buying Estee Lauder products for many years and very rarely complain about any purchases I make with any of my shopping but I sincerely think this should be reviewed so as to keep and look after your loyal customers. I ordered a product from them which is difficult to source in my local city , or even at 'Duty free' . No charge for postage it arrived in a few days by Royal mail. It was beautifully wrapped and included two small free samples. I shall use them again with confidence.

I always judge a company on how they respond when something doesn’t go to plan so that’s why I state that Estee Lauder is rubbish at customer service and fplenty of other reviewers think the same! Waited a week for my order to arrive only to find that although the delivery note stated that I had ordered what I wanted the contents was totally wrong Okay so mistakes can be made so I returned it the same day requesting a replacement After another week didn’t receive anything or even worse no confirmation of receipt or whether I was going to receive what I had ordered so contacted them by filling in their form online asking for a EDT Although I was assured that my query would be dealt with usually within 72 hours still no answer So I sent again requesting that they do me the courtesy of responding to my query Still no response so today I was going to put a charge back into action. However before I did I had an email from PayPal to say they had given me a full refund. What more could I want? Well an apology would have been a nice. Just a quick email would do or even better how about letting me know two weeks ago what the heck was going on!!! I’ve worked in and taught customer service over many years and one of the cardinal sins is not letting your customer know what’s going on. For one thing if you don’t its plain rude and for another it says that the company just wants to take your money and doesn’t value your custom Shall be thinking long and hard before I buy anything from them again
