Estée LauderReviews of esteelauder.com

Beware of the products coming from this site. I received 5 bottles of foundation which none of packaging was sealed. No gold emblem sealing the boxes. Some smelled rancid. I threw them all away for fear someone else had returned them

Geen beloofde promotie kado ontvangen bij bestelling. Na bellen en mailen kunnen ze dit eenvoudig niet oplossen. slecht van zo'n wereld bedrijf die haar eigen promotie die waar kunt maken. Heel raar.

Placed an order 17 June 2020 using discount code. 2 days later got the Friday deal email so then placed another order with the free gift. Received email confirming order. Waiting patiently for my order to arrive. On checking my online banking noticed both payments had been taken out, but that the 1st one had been recredited. Sent email - received email saying they weren't checking or able to reply to emails, so went to online chat and wasted half an hour being told neither of the orders had gone through - probably due to "weak signal". I could phone my order in and they'd try to help me. No thanks. Avoid! I've unsubscribed from their emails. Ordered the perfume I wanted from Debenhams yesterday and it arrived today- now THAT'S customer service.

I experienced the worst customer service today. Her name is Crystal on Live Chat. I asked her if she was a supervisor because my order was complicated and she said yes (after I was transferred to many agents and had to answer the same question every time I met one). Crystal was rude, didn't introduce herself like the other supervisor that appeared on the chat the day before (unfortunately disconnected because that supervisor appeared after more than 2 hours wait, but she was very nice and polite). Crystal didn't know how to apologize and refused to accommodate my request. I mean what kind of customer service was that? I think she misunderstood between the gift that was free for one order and the "gift set" that customers have to pay $178 to buy. She didn't know how to look into the order that I already provided the number? And she said she didn't owe me anything because I received the free gift and had discount for the order (The discount that Estee Lauder offered me because I bought so many items before and reached new level). Oh well, there were items that were missing in the "gift set" that I bought, not the one I get for free. She cut the conversation without asking if I need any other help (all the customer service should be trained to ask their customer this question!). I was so disappointed because I love their products. I finally had to make a call and the agent could fully assist me. But I have to give that Crystal 1 star, I'm so sorry!

I typically look around for offers and gift with purchases (I’m a university student so every £ counts) and saw that every Friday they have gift deals . (1am Friday morning) the code couldn’t be applied therefore I guessed the system hadn’t updated yet . So waited for 9am to try again to see if it would work which it DID . I spent £118 on 2 items therefore qualified for the code to be used which successfully added it to my cart and paid . I got an email (invoice) showing my items and free gift . I received my item 7 days later with no free gift? Which didn't add up as I understand subject to availability but surely should have seen stock levels and removed it before I paid or mentioned to me or else I wouldn’t have spent £118 on items where I could get a free gift elsewhere . Worst of all because it was a code to get the free gift and it’s only one code per transaction I obviously couldn’t use my 15% which was fine at the time , but I paid full price for items used my code for the gift which I never received when really I could have just used 15% off and at least got something out of the amount I paid? I called the Estée Lauder line and (bless her) all the lady could do is say sorry for something out of her control and said she couldn’t send anything out as there were 0 in the warehouse , she said I could return and try another deal but when I asked if it could happen again she said it was possible. I find the online service pretty appalling for a high end brand if you ask me . Wouldn’t never buy Estée Lauder from their site again (I would try feel unique or look fantastic). I get were in a pandemic but as serums and makeup aren’t requirements I don’t see why they’re running orders if they can’t keep up with demand and keep putting sales/offers up

Offer of 15% discount promised when signing up to elist but not honoured. Full money taken. Cannot get through to any customer service person, no answer online, by phone or through email. Feel ripped off!!

Used this company twice now. First time they were great and got my things through! Slight delay but not too bad. Second time ordering and worst decision ever. My account has been debited £90.40 and I haven’t got my purchases 11 days later. Says that they are still in the warehouse. That’s not all, My account seemed to of disappeared yesterday saying that my email address didn’t have an account with them but was still getting promotional emails from them? I emailed them asking what the hell was going on and why my account had disappeared, No answer, just an automated response saying they aren’t responding to emails but low and behold my account seems to be back today! Very strange. Haven’t called them as aim in the UK and this seems like an oversees number and since most reviews say they don’t bother answering I didn’t think there was a point wasting my time or more money. If this doesn’t get sorted after another week then I’m reporting it as fraud to my bank and getting my money back. I was so happy with this company and thought I had finally found one that sold decent products but the service just isn’t worth it. I’m so disappointed in you Estee, How your gonna have a company after this I don’t know. Your customers and reviews are what make a huge part of your company successful, I feel sorry for you

Bad service overpriced products half things not refunded and asked to call customer services held onto items waiting for me to return a free gift when I’ve spent thousands with them. A lot more cheaper and better brands out there that do more then strip yr skin
