The process to purchase an ESIM for Data only in Canada was fairly smooth and installing was easy BUT I found that coverage was very patchy in and around Calgary and non-existent in Inverness & Radium which was unfortunate as that was where I was staying for my visit, oh well maybe esims are not yet the way of the future, I paid for a plan on my physical SIM provider and that worked just fine.
