So far, so good. I haven't had any problems with our ELS Pet. We've only had it about 3 weeks. I did have a little trouble when I first got it. It came with such a small booklet, i had to go onto the website, and print out a maual because it was such small print, i couldn't read it. My kitties seem to like it. I'm quite impressed with it.

I have 5 cats, age ranges 16 to 9 years, all rescues that have been using traditional litter boxes. Being older myself, I decided to purchase a self cleaning litter box. I bought an els pet box. Took about 5 minutes to set it up, took the cats about a week and they were using it. It was so easy to clean, literally 5 minutes and I was done. I decided to buy a second elspet box. Shipping was quick both times. And I loved not struggling with scooping traditional boxes. I probably didn't need a 3rd elspet, but I bought one anyway, especially when both were occupied and one of my cats decided she didn't want to wait and got in with one of the other cats. I love how easy they are to setup, I don't use as much litter as I used to. There's literally no smell. I love the fact that I can come down stairs and not smell stinky litter boxes. Here is an update on how things are going and also cleaning the box. I've had my first box for a little over a month. As with traditional litter boxes you eventually have to empty, clean and fill with new litter because after a while litter begins to stick to the box and stops clumping. This past weekend I cleaned the original box. I followed the steps, made sure the rake was clean, pulled out the bowl, dumped the old litter, wiped out the bowl, wiped the entrance, emptied the trap, put everything back together, filled with new litter. It took me about 20 minutes, no issues really the only thing I experienced is making sure the platform/step was in place. Other than that, pretty easy.

After going the route of crowdfunding for various automatic litter boxes, and getting screwed, I decided I was done with that. I read quite a bit about the Elspet box and while I was a little nervous at first, I'm happy to say that so far, everything has worked out beautifully. So many of the automatic litter boxes depend on a rotating drum which can smear cat feces all over the inside of the drum and causing a pain to be able to clean. After having one of the major litter boxes for a while and dealing with them for a while, I got tired of that type of cleaning. For standard cleaning, all you have to do with this box is pull out the litter pan, dump the litter and refill it and you're good to go. Depending on how many cats you have, you'll need to do a deeper cleaning which involves a little more work but still not bad at all. I do recommend using a higher quality litter with this to prevent The clumps from breaking up as the rake passes through the litter I do highly recommend the Elspet box. The price is great and it works quite well.

I’m very happy with the product. My cats are Maine Coons so larger and they have no problem using the box. I’m happy with it possibly it could be easier to make it easier to get the tray out iIt works all the time abd has made my life easier

I did tons of research and read reviews. I was skeptical due to the negative reviews but found other big companies had equally negative reviews so I decided to give this one a try. I have had the littler box for 30 days now of the 90 day free trial. I have not had any issues at all. It has been working great. No smell and I have not changed the original litter yet. I have added to it though. No problems with it sticking to the bottom as I had with the Litter Maid. I do mix in some regular litter with the clumping which may be helping with the sticking to the bottom (which was a big problem with the Litter Maid and why I bought the Elspet). I have checked the rake and it still appears clean and functioning well. The robot came with an extra rake as well. I change the bag twice a week which I don't mind because it is so easy to access.

Litter box is loud, doesn't rake the sides where cat urinates, and the bottom of the box is peeling from the rake. Contacted customer service at 5 weeks of use and it is now 10 weeks and finally they want to charge a cleaning, restocking, and shipping fee even though I have to pay to ship back. They advertise 90 money back guarantee but they do not want to give you the money back. Awful litter box and awful company. Next writing will be to the Better Business Bureau. They will not make in long in business with such poor quality and lies on guarantee.
