Ordered this for my 12 lb. boy who was used to a regular open box. Had an old model Litter Robot that was difficult to maintain with the waste receptacle. The Elspet system is much more efficient and convenient with its waste receptacle in the back. My cat was used to an open box so I was worried he might not take to the closed style and the lights. He was hesitant for the first few days but has successfully transitioned to the new box. I love the tracking that the app provides including the monitor indicating litter amount and when more is needed. I did have difficulty pairing it with our internet provider as the box required a 2.5 bandwidth instead of the 5.0 that our system is locked on. A call to customer service suggested that I call my provider and request they disable the 5.0 width temporarily so I could then pair it to the Elspet. That worked perfectly and it remains connected even after the bandwidth automatically reverted to 5.0 after an hour. This has been a great help in keeping our dog out of the cats litter with the closed box and the raking and removal of the waste into the back receptacle. All around a good product that I was able to purchase with a discount that made it possible. Thank you for that!

This product arrived and does not work, blue light just blinks and it will not cycle, tried everything but there is NO customer support. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card and only then did someone reply to an email but with no assistance. And my cats won't go near it. Terrible customer service on a defective product.

So far have used this for three months and it is far the best automatic litter tray we have used. It is superior to the Whiskers machines because it deposits cat litter straight into the receptacle at the back. Downside is unless you order from E Bay or Amazon you may have problems returning it. The item is shipped from the UK but then expects return to China without supplying a shipping label. So if you order it and simply don't like it you may have problems returning it as the cost is over £200. If it is faulty you are protected by E Bay and Amazon. I also suspect the reason it has worked so far for us is that we are using high quality Felipure clumping litter which the rake seems to like. Also overall it looks less robust than the Whiskers models which are over twice the price. But for £300 we would still recommend as none of these automatic cat litter machines are perfect. Just be aware of what I've said to you. Also you need quite a bit of space for these machines. You need to empty every day despite the blurb and don't really want them in your lounge or bedroom! Hope this is helpful.

DO NOT DO IT! RUN THE OTHER WAY! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! They provide non-working equipment, they refuse a refund, they refuse a return, they demand video of it not working... how can you provide a video of something that just simply does not work. This place is a scam and a total fraud, do not waste your time or energy... MUCH LESS, YOUR MONEY!

The litter box was very difficult to put together, and the red spongy things will not stay in place. I have only had this box a few weeks and it’s already not working properly. It’s not cleaning the box correctly. It is too heavy to try to pack up and send back. I am extremely disappointed in this product and very upset with how much money I have thrown out the window for this.

I'm having an issue with the rake pulling the red gaskets out randomly and depositing them in the waste bin. Els Pet is supposed to send me new gaskets, but my concern is that it will continue to happen with the new ones. It's pulled 4 out already, and since it's deposited in with the waste I'm not about to fish them out. I'm wondering if the unit itself should be replaced.
