I had placed an order online which cost £25.07. I had received my confirmation email no so long after. After about a week of no contact about my order and when it would be dispatched, I emailed them. I was told it would be another 2 to 5 business days before it would be dispatched. Another week went by and still, no contact regards to my order. I yet again emailed them and was told the same thing 2 to 5 business days. It has now been 4 weeks since I placed my order. I have emailed again explaining the situation and have attached my email correspondence with them. I am still yet to receive a reply from them. Overall I think that after reading some of the reviews on here that they have a real problem with regards to shipping and should really look into this. £25.07 may not be a lot to me personally but it may be a lot to some young person who is just starting out on make-up. I really hope they sort out there shipping problems because 4 weeks and counting is a very long time to be waiting!

I’ve used Elf for years, I didn’t know they had a website so it was perfect in these times to stock up on bits. They have had great offers. It got delivered and dispatched really quickly and well packaged.

I have used e.l.f cosmetics now for just over a year and can honestly say the brand is one of the best I’ve ever used. I have an account with the UK site and every order I’ve purchased over the last 3 months has taken no longer than 5 working days. Considering the current climate we are in, I think that’s incredible. I have never had an issue with this company or the brand. I would 100% recommend!

The worst customer service and the worst shipping times. Don't waste your time or money.

Right. I don't do reviews ever. But this has really really frustrated me. I understand that all companies are struggling right now. But this has been such a poor experience. I placed my first AND ONLY order on 6th April 2020. The order total came to £37.50. Perfect. The money came out of my account. I received a confirmation email but it was hidden in my inbox? I had to search for it. Once I did, I went through to their website in order to check that my order was being processed. I was greeted with an UH OH message saying that my order could not be found. I emailed, very politely, to figure out what was going on. I got a quick response and they apologised for my inconvenience and processed my order again on the 10th April. They warned that there would be a shipping delay (not a problem). This was in that email "Please note, because of the time it is taking for your order to ship, the pending authorization on your credit card may drop off and the funds may return to your account. When your order is shipped you will be charged." Again, no problem. However, this never happened. My package didn't get shipped until the 20th. And then, I got charged again. No money was given back to me for the first payment so I'm left with £37.50 missing from my account. I emailed today, 28th April, asking about a refund. To which I was told that I have not been charged twice and it's just been a bit of confusion. Regardless of whether I was charged twice, this should have been communicated earlier in the thread of emails over the past MONTH. This entire process has been a f**king ball ache and I won't be ordering from them ever again. The products are good for value and do their jobs. That's the only positive I can take from this.

I don't usually go out of my way to make reviews, especially bad ones. I am shocked that I'm having to write one about this particular company as it's been a favourite of mine. I haven't bought online before but this time I chose to, even though knowing that there would be a delay considering the circumstances. A week came around and it was still in the 'In process' stage, i thought i'd give it a couple more days then I'd contact them. I then got a notification from my bank that I was refunded the amount that I paid, I am greatful that i was refunded but also annoyed that I didn't even get told, they just canceled my order. Will go elsewhere, just think people should know about this before purchasing from here.
