Unfortunately I have to confirm that Elavon are neither professional, courteous, or competent. The call advisors provide inaccurate information so be extremely careful. According to the official complaints procedure, this isn't an issue. I beg to differ and will be referring my particular case to the Ombudsman. I would urge everyone to think very long and hard before signing up to trade with Elavon. They haven't a clue what they're doing and you really do have to be on them like a hawk.

Paid Elavon thousands of pounds in commissions over many years, now my business has gone under with huge debts they are pursuing me for the final balance of my account with them. How much? £55.00! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Ruthless sharks! In contrast, every single one of my (many) other creditors - some well known national companies included- have been sympathetic and understanding.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scammer I've been caught in their scummy trap Some crook name christian called me and started offering me the best ever deals and prices with a different messages saying that they work in a different way... and that they don't lock their clients in a contracts so they can feel free... so he said After i decided that working with elavon just with a different virtual "resellers" (Eswipe) (before i was with Canadian POS which is a complete joke) is not going to be any different, i decide to close my account and stay with the best Merchant POS - "Square" when reached out to Elavon (because Eswipe are no body and just a virtual reseller of unknown service) i found out for the first time that they signed me without ever mention for 4 years contract of 55$ a month for a primitive device that sold for 100$ they told me that i cannot cancel this and i am stuck with them for 4 more years even though i realized that i don't want to deal with them after 2 months, they still insist that i will pay them even if i don't use their service in no way i wish i did more research before got in a trouble with those dishonest companies (Elavon, Eswipe) don't do my mistake and trust the guy on the phone that sell you stories and then after you already signed with them he will not even answer your emails The most negative customer experience i had for a very long time be sure that you not going to get any more new customers if that's depends on me Ross Grishin 1120017 B.C LTD.

We move our merchant account to Elavon from Cardnet and 100% we are happy with our account manager Chris for making the transition smoothly.

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I was lured in by a very convincing sales pitch, but all I have had over the years was regular disconnections (Rbout of balance they call it) Hidden charges every where! minimum fee. RMS chafge for the machine,Elavon charge for processing..and they BOTH charge for cancellation. I gave notice in January, Elavon have charged me for January, February and March even though I have not used the machine.(£120) RMS charged £265 just to cancel. I am a tiny business. I had to pay this out of my own pocket. They are corporate sharks and care nothing for their customers with bully boy tactics to scare us into paying money that I know I don't owe, but fear for the consequences if I don't. DON'T GO NEAR THEM!

Elavon is not a company I would advice dealing with. Signed up with RMS on 12th November - Card Machine arrived on 7th December. Elavon charged us from 1st November. I rang to complain and received a letter saying they were looking into it. When I rang again 3 weeks later they informed me the complaint had been closed and a letter had been sent. Never received that letter so they emailed me a copy. You have to jump through hoops to be able to read the letter from the email. Crazy system. Letter just said they hadn't done anything wrong and from the moment you sign to their services you incur charges even though you cant use them as they done send out the card machine for weeks. Elavon blamed RMS - RMS blamed Elavon but after ringing RMS again spoke to a different person and have been promised a credit.

To be honest I have had a relatively good experience with Elavon, I have been with them 4 years now they have saved me a lot of money compared to most companies, my terminals accept every card in the world, process foreign currencies (which I get paid), offer cashback (reduce paying banks to bank cash) and banks my payments the next day. I am rating 4 star as the PCI compliance is a bit of a pain but overall experience has been good
