Small business owner, had to do a manuel update for my machine. Called Elavon tech support was on line with a person (Kay) quickly got my machine updated took about 10 minutes total. Very helpful, thank you Kay.

Michael Sangster was extremely polite and courteous. A high-quality employee. This was my third experience with calling in and he made the process quick and efficient. The second lady I talked to before was rude and condescending. Unfortunately, I did not get her name.

Valerie was very helpful. The overall experience with Elavon has been less than ideal but she was a big help.

Shannon was experienced and professional. She resolved our issue on 8/15/24. We had spoken with two other reps on 8/14/24 and didn't have such a positive experience. The first one disconnected me after 12 minutes; didn't call back. The second one, Adeline, worked with us for a half hour but couldn't complete the job on 8/14/24 resulting in a third call on 8/15/24 to finalize the issue.

We use Converge to process our credit card sales. As an IT and Internet cybersecurity firm, we are amazed Converge does not offer multi-factor authentication (MFA) in accessing their processing site. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides a secondary vehicle for authentication in accessing a site, with confirmation/verification/authorization via either e-mail, text, voice, or an authentication app (Like Google Authenticator) MFA implementation is always at the top or within the top five recommendations for best security practices to impede or protect from hackers, password compromises, identity theft/impersonations, malware, and/or malicious intruders. When we contacted Converge, we were told this is something possibly on the roadmap for some unknown delivery date, and it was implied this was not a priority, as “there are so many projects to be completed on their new platform”. Their only suggestion to accomplish this, is to request a password change every time you log in, so that request is verified via e-mail. They should be embarrassed in even suggesting this as an acceptable solution. Really? Every other financial institution we access, and almost every one of out vendors has implemented MFA. Be aware. Be afraid.

To be honest I have had a relatively good experience with Elavon, I have been with them 4 years now they have saved me a lot of money compared to most companies, my terminals accept every card in the world, process foreign currencies (which I get paid), offer cashback (reduce paying banks to bank cash) and banks my payments the next day. I am rating 4 star as the PCI compliance is a bit of a pain but overall experience has been good
