The are Crooks! I knew I should've never opened an account with them! Do yourself a favor and use CMS instead. They are trust worthy and won't rob you of your hard work.

I opened an account with ELAVON through SagePay. I went through the application process and within a few days I was sent my login details. I also received my card terminal. SagePay was good to be fair they helped me set the account up. I then received a letter from ELAVON saying they was closing my account for no reason. Tried to contact them but was unable to speak to the security team because they couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone. Who would you open and account send the login details and payment terminal only to close it complete joke of a company. I would urge anyone who is seeking card payments to stay away from this company they are shocking. I am also amazed that a company like Sage would work on partnership with such a shambles of a company. I believe sage pay should advise customers that SagePay do not process the payments , it’s processed through ELAVON and let people see the honest reviews with regards to ELAVON. Please please people stay away from this company. You have been warned.

They are hopeless when you have a problem thats when you need them,but nope they just make sure life is very very hard for you So use someone else you have been warned.

This companies Direct debit collecting system broke down and has just recently been reinstated. Not my fault, and I was not aware of their problem. However, on 24th September they actually took the last 6 months DD in one go, which is against the law, under the direct debit indemnity scheme., They are obliged by law to send out a schedule of any DD and to state the date they will collect it in advance, and what it is for. I had no idea their collection system had broken down,, Not my fault, and now being treated like a bad payer as they could not get at my money for 6 months..and just felt it ok to help themselves without even notifying me to 6 months worth in one single day but in 6 separate DD.. .. I cannot believe we are forced to work with them via RMS and that they have not wised up to how crooked and illegal this company is.

The security department at Elavon's should be trained in customer service, manners and proper procedures. A very entitled woman, named Samatha Wyrick, closed my account because she "couldn't access my web page" and because the street address I provided wasn't my brick and mortar store but a UPS mailbox. I explained that I'm an online business and, therefore, the address that I provided is my mailbox. Instead of apologising for her mistake, she continued her rant telling me that my business was a "security threat" (very strong words if you consider her explanation) and that it was "under investigation" - LOL they close the account, put you out of business and then they investigate). She never notified me about this, she didn't try to contact me, she didn't read my documents where I clearly say I'm an online business. Nothing, she just silently closed my account and left me to find out 6 days later. Thank god I have other payment options, otherwise, I would have been out of business for 6 days!!! When I asked where to escalate this issue, she told me I can only go through her!! They are retaining my founds for 90 days for something that wasn't my mistake... unacceptable! I didn't do anything wrong, she was just incapable of reading my application to notice that I am an online business, she wasn't able to access my website... which can't be true because I have had sales every day on my site, I even had Elavon customer service employees access my store to check if the issue was on their side and they accessed with no issues... she is just illiterate and can't use a computer or can't spell my 4-letter website address right! I should have read the reviews before working with them, there are horrible reviews everywhere. Do not work with them, this is just the drop that spilled the water, I had been considering changing to a different merchant because they never take accountability for anything, they blame the payment processor every time there is a problem. They take over 10 business days to process customer refunds!! This company is just horrible. I have been trying to escalate this for two days and it's impossible. Stay away from this company, especially if you are a small business like me, they will have no consideration and will treat you like garbage. Don't believe me? google "Elavon reviews"!

this is the worst company ever if you want to grow your business do not use them they suck. The minute you start writing more business than you expect they just shut you off.

Total scam company. Leased a machine, when it broke they charged me for another! Tried to cancel several times after my contact they kept talking monthly charges when not being used. Had to do a stop payment at my bank. Total rip off company.
