Had an account with Helcim/Elavon. They decided to split and I stuck with Helcim. Little did I know, Elavon had a separate account and were charging us $99.99 monthly under the generic description, "Merchant Fees" which I didn't catch for quite some time. When I finally found out it was Elavon over a year later, I called for a refund, was hung up on several times and was refused a refund despite never receiving a single notice by mail, email, call or text about my "contract" or bill. I had recommended Helcim/Elavon for years, but it looks like Helcim was doing the good work for customer service. This industry lives and dies by reputation and Elavon has decided to take shortcuts for quick profits at the expense of long-term gains. What they are doing is theft. Stay away.

I understand about preventing fraud. I think it's commendable to suspect a malignant account. My account was pulled after weeks of what they said was 'inactivity.' It was so based off of a 'fraud paradigm' from what customer service told me. Elavon, make sure your team calls me when I tell them to after they send 5 or 6 emails trying to help me start an account. A worthless liaison was assigned to me after the originally assigned helper had resigned for another job. I had to contact him over half a dozen times including calls and emails. The system is cumbersome for even experienced tech wizzes. My hired tech support team struggled with the platform on top of staff not following up when asked. Then you have the nerve to delete my account, telling me I do have the priviledge of filling out the same paperwork I labored through weeks earlier. The automated email announcing my account was closed had the nerve to tell me they hoped we could do business again. Update, November 6th, 2023, they have now reached out to Trustpilot here to attempt to force me to not mention the individual's name that I previously posted. Well, Elavon.......here's to another rich tapesty in my testimony. Your arrogance in even trying to block freedom of speech. Be careful what you wish for. It gave me a chance to give even more credibility to showing your company is useless, only taking action to be vindictive. I've told Regions to drop you guys as well. And, Here's my business to you again.......I bad review telling everyone they are better of using Paypal.

Terrible experience as a business owner. We were only with Elavon for 14 months. We switched thinking it would be an upgrade from prior merchant service company however it was a bad move and had to switch again. Money was lost/missing. "Approved" transactions were not reaching account. Our accountant and business manager were baffled. Ultimately the problem was identified as being with Elevon card processing and it took MONTHS to get it resolved and they were non-responsive at multiple levels of the company.

Il m'ont pris mon argent, je ne leur fais pas confiance, je travaille fort pour mon argent et jusqu'à présent toujours sans remboursement. Je vous conseille de ne pas faire affaire avec eux. Il ne respecte pas leurs paroles.

We signed up for services after discussing our needs with a sales representative. Filled out forms, completed application and it was all down hill from there. Basically a non-starter. Equipment sent out and instructions to install a software that we did not ask for. Once we realized this equipment and service would not work we tried reaching out to the sales person with no response. After losing a day of sales and spending hours on the phone with my POS company and Elavon tech support they confirmed this setup would not work. We are almost 2 weeks into this and still no reposnes. I called this morning to cancel. I now have to cancel Coscto Membership which I signed up for to get the "better rates". Waste of time, money and sales.

This is an extremely reprehensible behavior. I was unilaterally terminated from the contract without any given reason, and this company took away my business's earnings. This has caused me irreparable losses, an amount substantial enough to jeopardize my business and my reputation with clients. This is unacceptable. As mentioned in the reviews from July, this company definitely needs a thorough investigation.

The merchant change department of Elavon leave much to be desired in the PR department for established customers. It took me a ridiculous 14 days to change my account information due to fraud!

Worst,Worst Worst. I had used this company’s credit card reader since July but after two weeks I did not see those money given to me. The total money is $309,04. Then I called them hundred times but there was no answer. last month they told me they would mail me a check but I have not got the check. they just play games with me. I already terminated this account in July 15, 2023 but today I got a letter which said I owe them money $59.27 which is called Delinquent Fee. It is so ridiculous . please give my money back.They are scammers. I went to costco and someone told me they are the third part of the costco. They really ruin costco’s reputation.Avoid those group of scammer. After I posted it and I got a phone call from elavon, the lady told me they had mailed a check since 3 month ago. I was curious if the mailed need 3 month from their company to San Francisico. She is a cheater too. She could not find any record from their company which they mailed me a check. They just they want to give me my check. They are all cheater.
