I purchased an EGO 56v 5amp blower in 2020 from Amazon. Eighteen months later the battery would indicate fully charged in the charger, but would show as completely discharged when installed in the blower. Because the battery and charger were warrantied by EGO for three years, I attempted to contact them for a replacement - which was a mistake. Over three consecutive days, I lost 3 hours waiting on hold. Each time, before hanging up, I left my number for a call back with no results. Reading other reviews on this site regarding their customer service, it's probably best that I never actually made contact with them. The blower worked well for the 18 months that I used it, but 'service after sale' is high on my list and, if I don't get it, I don't buy anything from the manufacturer in the again.

500€ dépensé dans une débroussailleuse éléctrique et 0 assistance. A savoir que la tête de coupe c'est rapidement fendue. Que ce soit en direct ou via le prestataire par qui je l'ai acheté personne n'est capable de me dire comment changer la tête de coupe (qui change de toutes les débroussailleuses que j'ai eu jusque là). Du coup qualité / fiabilité à revoir et SAV NUL ! Si j'ai ENFIN un retour après 15 jours, je modifierai ma note (car l'autonomie est pas mal et le reste du matériel est toujours ok)

Bad customer service

BE warned ! I bought an EGO lawnmower LM120E in 2018. Good lawnmower but I was surprised when I tried to charge the battery for the first cut of this year, and the local dealer confirmed it was faulty. I was even more shocked when I had to pay well in excess of £300 to get a replacement. If I had known that the very expensive batteries need replacing on a regular basis I would never have purchased the EGO Mower.

Bought an Ego blower 5 months ago and already having battery issues, this is a very expensive item to be of such a poor quality. Do not recommend to anyone.

I cannot over emphasize how pleased I am with my EGO 2 stage snowblower. After reading some reviews of electric snowblowers (all brands) I was a little hesitant to give up my gas snowblower. The EGO snowblower has exceeded my expectations. I have a 6 car driveway, and have used the snowblower at least 20 times this winter from 2 cm snowfalls to 30 cm snowfalls, all without issue. Shortly after I received the machine I had an issue with it making a knocking sound. Service from EGO was quick and professional. The problem had been my own making...I hit a piece of wood in the snow (I knew it and I accepted responsibility). Repair was done at their specified warranty dealer $50. Would, I recommend it...absolutely.

I own several EGO products and have generally been satisfied. I just got the 2-stage snowblower, and am very disappointed. The discharge chute lines freeze if the temperature is below freezing making it impossible to change the chute directions! I have called their support multiple times and was told to use a hair dryer to unfreeze the line! Imagine that -- I need to have a hairdryer handy to unfreeze the discharge chute before being able to use the snowblower if it is below freezing! Incredibly bad design. I'm done with EGO.

I fell in love with EGO to quickly! I have a garage full of the tools, I LOVE them. But- The batteries will only take a few charges, then they are useless!! At nearly $500 a pop for new batteries these tools were worst. Now, can’t even purchase them anymore at all! Lowes does not even list them as a stock item anymore. Your site claims that Ace has them but they don’t. What do I do now? Help!!!
