Bought almost $1400 worth of Ego tools less than one year ago. Pulled out the powehead last weekend to do some trimming only to find it completely dead! After 30 minutes of inane questions I was told that I need to take it to a repair shop. The shop is only open 8-4 weekdays with no weekend hours. I guess that means I have to take time from work. I recommend against purchasing anything from Ego! They are clearly not truly interested in providing good customer service, only selling tools.

Battery works as expected until warranty runs out. Plan on replacing it at the tune of $200-$500. I’ve never had a a battery go bad from any other manufacturer. I won’t buy another Ego product.

Spent $289.97 at Lowes for the string trimmer only to find out that the battery and charger were left out of the box. The manager at Lowes opened 3 boxes until he finally found one that had the battery and charger. Whoever is in quality control needs to be checked on.

I really like the EGO line except for the price of there batteries. Now I like having a cordless lawn mower, but I can buy a good quality gas mower for for less than there batteries and a gas mower runs forever if you take care of it. When my battery dies, I will park the mower and go with gas. Sorry EGO, you started it.

Call Ego support and need to wait about one hour for someone to answer. They are so rude. They will not listen to what you say. They do not stand behind their products. Bought mower and battery died after 2 years but they will not replace it because i could not find the orginal receipt. I found the receipt and called back but they would not enter the purchase date becuse they said I did not have the battery with me.

Defective products abound. Support is horrific. I bought a zero turn mower and its dead less than a year after purchase. Registering your product does not work. You have to do it through support (I had to do it two times). They don't believe you bought their product by default and have to supply a copy of your original purchase receipt... even if you did register it. Then the entire burden of coordinating, moving the mower by renting a trailer and finding a service center is on you as the customer. E GO=Garbage. Don't buy their products. Don't forget, expect to be on hold for an hour or more to even talk to someone for help.

Switched from ryobi to ego for line trimmer and blower. Went top end in both. Mind blown how good the products are! They are a notch above anything in the market.

100% satisfied with how EGO honors their warranty. After one season my EGO LM21355p lawnmower would not start. Called the warranty number on Thursday. Michelle promptly answered and after a couple of checks that it wasn’t operator error and that there were no EGO repair shops nearby EGO is sending me a new replacement mower. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews on here. But perhaps the many who get good warranty service do not take the time to review. I did.
