My mower broke after only 2 years of being in use. I dropped it off to a service location to be fixed. It's been 6 weeks since I dropped if off at the service location, and they still haven't even received the parts from Ego to start working on it. Meanwhile, I've had to pay $40-$50 per week to either rent a mower or hire a lawn service to mow my yard. Ego said that they cannot reimburse me or refund me in any way since they are not directly responsible for selling the product. Lowe's and other companies are responsible for selling the product, not Ego. Ego couldn't even offer to give me a free battery or new blades or anything to help out. All they can do is make me wait for months to get my mower repaired. I do not recommend using Ego products because if their tool breaks, you will be waiting for a very long time to get it fixed.

Having trouble with my trimmer , called customer service and got no help at all ! They should not call there selves customer sevice , as that implies they care and they don`t ! I will never buy another Ego product again !

Seriously feeling conned. The BATTERY LIFE on my ego strimmer in year 2 is down to about 7-10mins. Absolute junk, i bet ive charged the battery 25times from new and this is what im left with. What a con. Go look for reviews from the public, apart from here ego have been very clever in hiding them

Took delivery of a strimmer kit with charger and battery. Box arrived ripped and taped up with brown gaffa tape, opened the box and it looked like it was thrown in there, manual missing and bolts missing, emailed them but no response, called them, they said they would look into it and call back, they never did, I called back and was told they have been busy!! Said they will send the parts to me, still waiting Sh#te service from a big firm

Terrible customer service. Easier to return the items to lowes.

Unfortunately I can’t comment on customer service as I haven’t had any problems, however I purchased my ego strimmer around 7 years ago and was so impressed I have added the chainsaw, leaf blower, hedge trimmer and lawn mower to the ego family. I have the 7.5AH battery for the lawn mower which will go for about 45 minutes, I also have a 2.5AH, 4AH, and 5AH battery and so far have not experienced any problems with the batteries, chargers or appliances. Now enjoying a life free of pull cords and petrol!

Been a loyal customer for at least 5 years. Everything is great until you have a problem. After waiting for customer service to answer, almost an hour and a half later, the lady was not concerned or helpful. My battery would not take a charge. She kept telling me it was the charger, had to prove to her with another charger, that the battery was defective. Her head piece kept cutting out and was blaming my phone for bad reception. Bought the hedge trimmer in May but the serial number indicated it was made in October the previous year. Was it my fault it sits in a store or at a wear house for 6 months? No help from customer service! Now I’m sorry I own 2 machines from EGO. I did find out that the battery warranty only lasts 3 years. Mine was 5 years old. 160.00 for a new battery on Amazon seems awful high! I would rather cut my loses and switch to a more reliable company.

My Ego lawnmower battery had problems since I bought it in June 2020, when weather was hot. Now it shows red even before I start mower and I can get very little mowing before it cuts out.
