A big THANK YOU to all who have taken time to write these reviews on Trustpilot. My neighbour let me try his new E-go 52cm mower yesterday. It was great to use and I was about to buy the same mower at £900 next week but thank goodness I checked Trustpilot first. I am shocked at the customer 'service' described here and I'm sticking with my old Castelgarden petrol until I find a company with more respect for their customers.

Bought this mower in the UK. Worked great the first couple of times but battery run time gets progressively less and recharge time progressively more. mower is great. Batteries are useless

EGO mower and Strimmer are fantastic, so it's a shame I would not recommend the edger attachment, mainly due to the fixed metal blade. 1) You can't edge solid paths/ stepping stones/stony edges because the blade cannot accommodate these adjacent surfaces. Sparks will fly and stones will be ejected dangerously. So it's only good for straight turf edging on to clean soil. 2) You can't easily accommodate varying depths unless you're prepared to constantly adjust the wheel height. 3) You can only go in one direction. Theres a rubber flap preventing reverse direction. 4) The wheel is quite narrow and easily falls off the grass. 5) Why, oh why didn't EGO use the trusted strimmer style head (with plastic line which is lighter and more accommodating re 1,2,3 above.

Purchased a power mower in April 2022, spring 2023 the battery is completely DEAD, stored in dry basement. April 29,2023 called CS and was told a replacement would be shipped out. One month later, after several calls to them a UPS label was created, but no delivery date, because UPS did not have the product yet. It is now 6/20 and still no replacement batterY!!!!! All I get is a run around from CS everytime I call. Their CS is always polite but the company is HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT BUY EGO, GO TO HOME DEPOT AND GET a RYOBI!!!! Son-in-law has had one for 2 years, NO PROBLEMS!!!

After only 3 years of use the battery of my mower began to smoke and melt on the charge. Luckily I was home. I bought a $400 battery and this week it's a contact problem with the handle that's affecting operation. Seriously, at this price it is unacceptable for a tool to stop working after 3 years. Ego Power is over for me.

After just one summer the blade stopped turning. It was an easy diagnose as the button that turns it on stopped clicking. Took it Cutlers (approved repair shop) in Orem Utah and was told it would take SIX WEEKS for one little switch, easily accessible. I said give me the switch (it is under warranty) and I would put it in myself. I was then told they would have to charge me. So I left it. Four weeks later they sais pick it up it is fixed. Got it home and it had the exact same problem. I will NEVER buy an Ego product again !

Purchased a mower 3 years ago. It stopped working. Filed a warranty claim and was given a case number and location for repair. Dropped it off for repair nearly 4 weeks ago and no response from OEM or repair shop. Grass continues to grow, so to avoid fines from HOA I purchase and return a mower every few weeks.
