They refuse to honor their warranty on defective leaf blowers. And customer support gives the runaround before you end up getting a message that the complaint has been resolved, forcing you to start all over. The product was great when it worked, but just weeks later it stopped and they won't help - they won't even direct me to a repair shop so I can pay myself to repair their defective product.

The battery has a three year warranty. My battery was losing power with 6 months remaining on the warranty. I called and they tested my battery and found that it powered my leaf blower for seven minutes, that is 7 minutes and declined any claim stating that is usual for a battery that old. Who leaf blows for seven minutes?

EGO 56Volt Lithium battery under a year and has already broken charger not charging battery. Have tried multiple trouble shooting issues and nothing has resolved it.

I was turned away by ego for a defective battery under warranty when it was new three years ago. The rep said it charged and operated (but did not hold charge) and to call back if it keeps doing it. I dont have time to keep testing a defective battery, or wait 1hr + to talk to their terrible support team so I ignored it. Fast forward today I dusted it off and it wont charge at all. They told me to get bent because its out of warranty now. I got no use out of the battery and the company clearly doesnt stand behind their products.

Battery stopped charging after 10 months. I gave the EGO Warranty Department valid serial numbers and sales receipt. They sent me notice my warranty was good and all setup. A day later Ego's Warranty department said they will not honor the warranty because I bought it at a lower price than the industry standard. It is not my fault I got a discounted price. Now they wont honor the product. Turns out EGO has a small set of sellers that set specific prices on their products so it is the same price no matter where you buy it. Be warned you will not get a warranty if you get a discounted price. They honor the partnership of the sellers to keep the prices high over their actual products. They have a very bad business model. I had to leave 1 star since I couldn't leave zero stars.

I purchased an EGO string trimmer from Lowes less than two years ago. It quit working. Hit the button and it would "twitch" but not run. I contacted EGO and told them I didn't have a receipt any longer buut they went ahead and sent me a new one. I got it this past April 17th of 2023, and now in the middle of December 2023, it is doing the same thing and this time they won't replace it. because they had replaced it once before without a receipt. That is OK. It's on me for losing the original receipt to start with. My fault. No problem. The thing I'm upset about is AGO has a problem with the motors doing this. It's happened to me twice, and I see on Youtube where the techs have affirmed that this happens quite often with the motors. So why isn't the problem being fixed PERMANENTLY ?? I really liked that weedeater when it was working but won't ever buy another by EGO and wouldn't advise anyone else to do so either.

I bought a blower 2 years ago and liked it so much I bought a string trimmer and a hedge trimmer. Now the battery that came with the blower won't work on turbo! They won't replace the battery because it works in regular mode and on the other 2 devices! The blower DOES work on turbo with one of the other batteries from the other devices! How is this NOT an original battery issue? Terrible service!

I am currently looking for battery powered tools for my 3 adult sons and I will not be purchasing any ego battery powered equipment for them due to my experience with the tools and the customer service for this company!
