I wanted to try their nodiet plan that turned out to be just Mediterranean meals. Soon after I put payment details in, it disappeared from my screen. No reply, no confirmation, no link to download plan. But the charge came through and MORE! I got charged for a subscription plan that I didn’t subscribe in addition to the initial payment. Highway robbery!!

Ich habe nie bewusst ein kostenpflichtiges Abonnement bei Effecto / Mindway abgeschlossen. Angeblich soll ich durch das Starten einer kostenlosen Testphase automatisch einem Jahresabo zugestimmt haben – zum Preis von 211,49 €. Eine ausdrückliche Zustimmung zu einer zahlungspflichtigen Verlängerung, wie sie das Verbraucherrecht verlangt, gab es nicht. Ebenso habe ich keine Bestätigung mit Preis-, Laufzeit- oder Widerrufsinformationen erhalten. Auf meine Bitte um Rückerstattung wurde nur reagiert mit dem Hinweis, ich müsse einen Screenshot meiner angeblichen Kündigungsversuche vorlegen – obwohl der Anbieter selbst nachweisen müsste, dass ein Vertrag überhaupt wirksam zustande kam. Für mich ist das Vorgehen intransparent und verbraucherrechtlich fragwürdig. Ich rate daher zu großer Vorsicht beim Umgang mit dieser App.

I found this company billing my PayPal and I have no record of requesting for the service. I tried countless times to get my money back and they were unwilling even though I NEVER used their services. They were responsive which is good but they are not customer centric over making money maliciously or otherwise!!

I tried the app, for which I had to give payment details. I didn’t find it as useful as other apps I tried, and with no reminders at all - which I think as an app to HELP people with ADHD is an absolute basic, payments were taken from my account even though I had only used the app once. When I emailed, literal minutes after the payment was taken from my bank account I was told there was no refund available for an app I have not used on a subscription that had been active for 5 minutes. No cool off period, no reminders and a blanket response have made this an awful experience. Stay away.
