eFaxReviews of efax.com

It's quite cool. Having the option to send faxes from your smartphone, by email. use the free trial if you only need it once or twice, you just have to call customer support and cancel it.

Their service is slow, their user interface is outdated and it is unfortunately quite difficult to cancel. I've requested multiple times to cancel but they instead add barriers. You can not cancel online through your account, but instead, have to negotiate with an agent.

I tried their fax service and decided to cancel my trial subscription. I went on their web site and logged in and went to the help page. There was a link in the section about cancelling an account. A message box came up and I put in my request to have my account cancelled. Several weeks latter I receive an email about being charged for the next month. I went to their chat line and I was told that in order to cancel my account I either had to call or do an online chat. In any case they would not reverse the charge. Use caution when dealing with this company.

First, a good way to send and receive faxes with no fax at home. Second, a very good experience when calling the support, because everything is not always as clear as one would expect… and I do appreciate to speak with a living human in place of a robot. All in one : if you need to fax it, try it.

The platform is very easy and good The support reps are extremely nice and they provide excellent and professional service! would defiantly recommend to friends & family.

I have been asked to update my comments on efax. After posting a comment here I was contacted by someone from the Company and was able to close the account albeit prior to actual expiry date at my choice as I thought best to do so when. Had the chance! My original comments ONLY referred to the irritating issue of being able to create an account and everything else in minutes run it I am old enough to remember telex it has a similar demise and these are just technical advances in technology. So 20 years plus a good and happy customer irritated by replies to e fax that I needed to call this and that number to close the account. Sorry but it is a common technique with ( mostly American Companies) that’s require this and it seems with the objective of making it harder to close and therefore making it more likely you wont. It should stop. E Fax have to understand that after all the time being a happy customer and happy to recommend the service that was destroyed and spoilt in a flash on trying to close the account remembering that it was being closed for a good reason and not related to any issue with the provision of the service for so long. Putting a review on Trustpilot got action ( well done Trustpilot 5 stars for you!). Make it easy to close in one click. Make it easy to close and you have positive reviews of the service and never know there might be a time when there is a need to provide a fax again. If I had to frankly unless this closure policy was changed I would not. So why not change e fax. The owners of that company ( j2) bought Live Drive in the UK. I have used them for many years too. Had a reasonable reason to close the account same problem except this time they managed to use an out of date credit card and were able to charge my new one! There is always a reason and my conclusion is that they have a proportion of accounts that are not active help by customers that have forgotten they even have an account! There are no reminders of billing coming up to advise and remind customers to review whether they need to continue ( or upgrade they seem to have forgotten that scenario ) , and I am sorry no company orientated to customer service would act like that. Put a cancel button on log into account and THEN you can get a 5 star rating otherwise nothing has changed and I warn existing and potentials customers to be careful what they sign up for and monitor carefully their account.

eFax has made faxing so much easier for me. I first started using the service a couple years back when I was desperately trying to get rid of my fax machine. It has saved me a lot of time and money!

Awful company to deal with. The process of canceling an account is a long and winding road that takes multiple dead-end calls and emails before completion. My own experience appears much in line with other reviewers. ++++UPDATE++++ To be fair it turns out they had stopped taking payments from me not too long after I requested cancellation, I just kept getting the billing notices.
