the most amazing muffins i ever had

After being with Hungryroot for almost a year, I decided to switch to EatClean because of their representation of being using strictly clean, organic foods and they offer Keto selections (which Hungryroot did not). I have been with them for 3 weeks now and so far the meals are good and portions are satisfying. I wish there was more selections as I am finding that there is only about 10 entrees to choose from per week and that doesn't leave much room for variety if you are on an 8-10/meal per week plan. The beef is tough and chewy so Im going to stay away from those dishes but chicken and fish entrees are delicious. I wish they included more information on their website about where they source they foods from and the type of oils they use in preparing the dish. I have not had any problem with on-time delivery or packaging as the boxes are packed beautifully and well-insulated. The meals have arrived fresh and ready to eat. I will continue with Eat Clean but suspect that I may grow tired with the same meals being offered week after week.

I have 3 issues. 1. The first 2 meals were fair, however the last meal (Texas Chili) we were not able to eat. It had an off taste and did not have an appetizing appearance. 2. Following the recommended timing in the microwave the trays warped out of shape. 3. The following order was processed shortly after the arrival of our first batch, before we had a chance to try the meals. I would not have made a reorder and now have cancelled further orders. A forth issue: The second order arrived 6 days late and was spoiled. This was probity the fault of the carrier, however trying to resolve the issue with Eat Clean resulted in no response from three emails and being put on hold with a phone call which they never returned to.

Terrible customer service. Horrible meals. Scam practices. This company is aweful. Do not use them for anything ever.

I had eat clean for a little more than 2 months. I ordered large meals. On a weekly basis they would give me regular meals. I would call customer service they refunded me the difference and then told me it would be fixed. We went through this process weekly with no resolution. At first they had an L or an R on the labels to identify the meals as large or regular. They have since gotten rid of this which seems really shady as they are trying to pull a fast one on people. If you value your time I would look elsewhere with your prep meals.

I have tried at least 10 other meal delivery plans for weight loss, and Eat Clean is BY FAR the best. The food is AMAZING, fresh, tasty, and I have yet to find a dish I don't like after 3 weeks! Just be sure to select your meals by the cut off date or you may receive meals you might not like (or duplicates). The price is a little high but not as high as other services. I love the different foods like Yucca Mash & Yucca Fries, Sweet Potato Noodles, Sea Bass! AWESOME gluten free & non-spicy choices. Highly recommend this plan. Website is easy to use.

Update: As of 10 days later, the order didn't arrived - nor did I receive even one email from the company about it, it now has been removed from the website, but no refund issued, and the company last claimed this review should be removed, because it was bogus, and I never purchased anything from them! So I guess the charge on my Amex is for some virtual meals... And they never answer their phones - except by an automatic system that put you on hold indefinitely. i tried both their billing and their customer "service" today. Previous review: The pits. You have to go through the whole process of signing up, giving your credit card, etc. just to see the meals (all meal services employ these shady tactics). When I saw the meals, I immediately cancelled the subscription. Today I found a charge on my card. Called them, mistakenly punched for sales, and they put me on hold indefinitely. Called again, this time for customer service, and eventually someone answered offshore and told me the initial order can no longer be cancelled. There were never any emails that the order was approved, was getting processed, charged or shipped. And now that I see the reviews about the quality of the meals, I can only anticipate with great joy what would arrive at my door steps...
