After unsatisfactory experiences with over-the-ear hearing aids, I decided to try Eargo. A revelation! Not only are they unobtrusive, but the sound quality is excellent. After years are saying "What" when spoken to, I can hear clearly in noisy situations, restaurants, television, road sounds in the car, etc. On top of which, they are so comfortable that I don't even realize I'm wearing them. I would—and have—recommend Eargo to anyone who is suffering moderate hearing loss. They have improved my quality of life in untold ways. Anthony M.

My Eargo6 hearing aid is excellent. It works very well, and it is very comfortable. It is very easy to forget that you even have them in! It is virtually invisible and does not interfere with my glasses. And just as important, the Eargo company is both very responsive and very helpful. I highly recommend both the Eargo company and the Eargo6 equipment. Both the Eargo company and the Eargo6 get 5 stars from me.

Before Eargo I wore Oticon over-the-ear hearing aids for four years. They worked great, but when Covid rolled in I almost lost them many times removing the dreaded mask. My audiologist want to put me in Oticon’s IIC, invisible in canal, but it completely obstructed the canal. Although I only have mild, high frequency loss, I would not be able to use my low frequency hearing bypassing the aid. Eargo has an open canal, so my bass tones and men’s voice go directly to my eardrum. I get the Eargo assist for my wife’s voice and song lyrics. I had Eargo send me the sample kit to make sure I could tolerate the inserted aid. After that, they sent me the real thing. I wore them from the minute I got them and have never looked back. The built-in audiograph function has correction set up the aids for my specific loss. The four preset programs take my baseline and add noise filters or volume adjustments automatically. All I do is use my phone app or tap on my ear to change programs. Every night I remove them and place them in the charger. I would never go back to over-the-ear. The Eargo team has fallen all over themselves to make sure I am happy. Thank you Eargo.

Very prompt and positive response to questions and problems. Almost impossible to detect when wearing them. Comfortable to wear. Very good sound reproduction.

This is my 2nd set of Eargo’s. I recently purchased Eargo 6’s because of the better technology. I really enjoy the ability to change programs and alter existing programs if necessary because of changing environments. Service from the entire staff is always professional, friendly and fast. Easier than making an appointment and going to the audiologist’s office.

I have two versions of Eargo’s hearing aids. I ordered the Eargo Neo’s a few years ago and they were great. I recently replaced them with the Eargo Six and they are even better. Great product, customer service and support.

I am currently using the Eargo 6 hearing aids. This is my second pair (first set was an earlier version). My experience with both the hearing aids and the support has been great. When I had an issue with one hearing aid, Eargo was very prompt in sending me a replacement. When I had questions, if someone did not answer the phone when I called, my call was returned in a short time. By taking Eargo's "Sound Match" test, it was confirmed my hearing in one ear was less than the other. To help work through all of this, I was able to talk to an audiologist. They were able to help me address my issues, and were able to send me updates that resolved the very small feedback issue I was having. The software for the hearing aids does a great job with filtering out background sounds. With 4 different settings, you can customize for the TV, music, telephone, restaurants, meetings and normal hearing. They also can manually filter background noise. The thing they don't do is answer the phone or stream music to your ears. For me I would rather have the in-the-ear and hard to see hearing aids that improve my all-round hearing. If you are looking for in-the-ear hearing aids that are hard to see with excellent support and much more realistic on sound location, I would highly recommend purchasing the Eargo 6 hearing aids. My original behind-the-ear hearing aids (from another company) picked up the conversation at the next table really well but not my wife sitting across the table from me.

Yes, I very much enjoy my Eargo 6 hearing aids.It improves my ability to talk to people without asking them to repeat the sentence. They fit and sit perfectly the whole day without pain or discomfort. The customer care and support is amazing! Once a week I'm getting a follow up message with recommendation and supportive question. THUMB UP! to all designers, engineers and all who were involved.
