Eargo told me the small device size prevented addition of more features. Then about a year later they come out with two new models with features that would solve my issues.
They offer no meaningful upgrade policy. I offered $1000 to upgrade, which they turned down. They expect me to pay twice for lifetime audiology support and sales commission.

Scam Offer
I responded to their offer to send equipment to my house. It never came. Instead they hounded me with calls and texts - even when I told them to stop calling and texting. Scam Offer.

Don't buy Eargo Hearing Aids - They are garbage
I am only giving 1 star because there is no option to give zero stars. I bought Eargo Neos a couple years ago and they were not cheap. I was excited because they seemed like a good product and company. All was well with their performance except for the fact that I found the sound to be a bit shrill and sharp and they feed back in my ears at the slightest elevation of higher pitched voice or noise. After some time the left earpiece dropped to a low volume and barely worked. I called the company and they had me try different things to see if I could get them to work. No go! Fortunately for me, I was just a few weeks within the warranty so they replaced it for free. I felt that if this was a good product it would not have failed in such a short period of time but they replaced it so I was happy for that. Fast forward to a week ago when I first realized that Eargo had an app that I could finally pair with my hearing aids that would allow me to add more low end to the hearing aids and hopefully end or reduce the shrill sound and feedback. Just to be clear, I never received information about this app when I bought the hearing aids and there was nothing mentioning it in the original materials I received. So this was a new and welcome feature to me. I downloaded the app and went about the process of pairing it with the charger. Of course it could not pair with my Iphone so I called the company. They said it may be that since I got the replacement left piece that it was not registered. They registered it and I tried again, no luck. I asked what they could do to fix the problem, Easy, they wanted me to pay $295 for a replacement charger since I am no longer under warranty. I absolutely refused to pay since their charger was obviously faulty to begin with. I am on Social Security and do not have that kind of money to fork over for a product that has proven itself to be substandard. So, here's my advice. stay the heck away from Eargo. Their hearing aids are not reliable and from the other reviews here I see I am not alone in saying that. Buyer beware of this flimsy, high priced product.

Buyers bewar
IBuyers beware. They are not what they report to me. I ordered hearing aids in January. They came late with lots of excuses and then they didn't work. I couldn't get anyone to call me. Thanks to Capital One they were contacted and I settles my dispute based upon an assurance the credit would posted in 15 minutes....10 days ago. I just got a email saying they cannot process the credit unitl they resolve the dispute. Believe me. Dont do business with this Company!!!!

I like Hearing but...
I began having issues with my Eargos about 4 months in. First, the charger had to be replaced. No big deal, that happens... Then after 9 months, my right ear began doing things like restarting for no reason, I dealt with support and they gave me "things to try" to fix the problem which continued but somewhat intermittently. Then one of the Eargos got louder or the other one got softer. The point is, the volumes changed on one of the units. So I called again and they gave me some "things to try." Again, initially seemed to work of work, but not really. At this point, I should have demanded full replacements, but I was trying to be a nice guy about it. Okay, I'm a dork! Finally about 2 months out of warranty, my right one died completely. Did they offer a replacement? Sure, but at half the cost of an original, NOT for free even though they knew I'd been having problems with them both!! So like a dork, I bought the right ear replacement. (Mind you, I'm still paying the financing of the original pair!!) Then this morning my left one which has been only lasting 8 hours and giving me fits charging for months now, has ceased to charge. Thanks, EARGO! Meantime, I won't be done paying for these until March! Share this if you know of anyone needing hearing aids.
