Unsafe rental and dismissive Eaglerider follow-up.
Rental from Eaglerider, Des Plaines, Illinois
Trike rental, August 2026
It is extremely disappointing to experience such an unprofessional level of service from EagleRider, particularly when customer safety is at stake.
The motorcycle provided was in an unsafe mechanical condition, raising serious concerns about the company's maintenance standards and commitment to rider safety. This was not a minor inconvenience but a potentially dangerous situation that could have resulted in injury or worse.
What is even more concerning is the company's response after the issue was reported. Rather than taking the matter seriously and demonstrating accountability, the response was inadequate, dismissive, and failed to address the underlying safety concerns.

fund due to serious illness.
I am Brazilian and, along with a group, we reserved 9 motorcycles from EagleRider Las Vegas to travel Route 66. However, two days before the trip, my husband was rushed to the hospital due to thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. I contacted the agency, explained the situation, and sent all the supporting documentation, but the company refused to refund the money. The rest of the group went ahead with the trip and, after contacting the rental company directly, explained the situation. They said they would not refund the US$1,200 paid in advance. They said the only option was to issue a credit valid for one year. However, my husband is still unable to take long-haul flights, as it would be from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Las Vegas, Nevada. We don't have another group to make this trip. We have made several attempts to contact them and have received no response. The validity period of the credits is about to expire, and I cannot resolve this impasse with EagleRider Las Vegas.

Highway blues with Eagle Rider
Mon quatrième voyage avec ER aux states. Aout 2026 location de 11 street glide tourer. Tout était prêt pour le pick up à New Orleans, Daren le gérant ER nous attendait. 10 bécanes quasi neuves, la mienne un peu moins. 3 000 kms de route vers Chicago, 2 incidents mécaniques parfaitement gérés en liaison avec DAREN par Harley Memphis et ER Nashville. Drop off à Chicago impeccable. Nous étions en assurance VIP 0, aucune surgcharge facturée après notre retour en France. En résumé, des vrais pros, c'est un peu cher, mais c'est sécure. Pour faire un voyage en moto aux USA, je conseille.

EAGLERIDER -- A MEMBERSHIP THAT YOU CAN…
EAGLERIDER -- A MEMBERSHIP THAT YOU CAN PAY FOR, BUT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE.
I have been an EagleRider member and have faithfully paid approximately $55 per month, building a membership value of roughly $3,500.
The problem? EagleRider continues to collect my $55 every month while the availability of locations where I can actually use the membership has been shrinking. In Oregon, there are currently no EagleRider locations available to me that allow me to reasonably use the membership I have been paying into.
When I asked EagleRider to cancel my membership because the service I purchased is no longer meaningfully available to me, their response was essentially:
"You should have read the agreement."
Seriously?
That response says a great deal about the company's attitude toward its customers.
I understand contracts. I understand terms and conditions. I also understand that businesses have contractual rights. But a contract should not become a shield against fundamental changes in the availability, accessibility, or practical value of the service being purchased.
EagleRider's own current membership information says that Club benefits are available at "Participating Locations" and that members can use their credits at participating locations worldwide.
So here is my question:
What exactly is a customer supposed to do when the locations needed to use the membership disappear, but the monthly charges continue?
I am not asking for something unreasonable. I am asking EagleRider to recognize that I have paid thousands of dollars into a membership that has lost significant practical value because of the reduction in available locations.
Instead, EagleRider's position appears to be:
"Keep paying us $55 a month. Whether you can actually use what you're paying for is your problem."
That is an extraordinarily poor way to treat a loyal customer.
There are legitimate legal and consumer-protection concepts that may be relevant here, including material change in circumstances, failure of consideration, unconscionability, good-faith performance of contracts, and potentially unfair or deceptive business practices, depending upon the actual membership agreement, representations made when I enrolled, and the circumstances surrounding the reduction in available locations.
I am not claiming that EagleRider has necessarily violated the law. I am saying that "you should have read the agreement" is not an adequate answer to a legitimate customer complaint involving thousands of dollars of paid membership value and a significant reduction in the ability to use the service.
A company that values its customers would look at the situation and say:
"We understand that the service has become substantially less useful to you. Let's find a reasonable solution."
Instead, EagleRider appears to be hiding behind the fine print.
That's not customer service.
That's not loyalty.
And frankly, that's not the EagleRider experience I thought I was buying.
If EagleRider wants to continue charging me $55 every month, I expect them to provide a meaningful opportunity to use the membership I have paid for.
If they cannot do that, then I believe the reasonable and ethical solution is to allow me to terminate the membership and provide an appropriate resolution for the approximately $3,500 in membership value I have accumulated.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering an EagleRider membership to look beyond the monthly price and ask a much more important question:
"Where, exactly, can I use this membership--and what happens to my money if those locations disappear?"
Because apparently, according to EagleRider, the answer is:
You keep paying.
They keep collecting.
And you should have read the agreement.

Worst experience ever!!!
Worst experience ever!!!
Here our case:
We planned our West Pacific Coast Road from Seattle to Los Angles December 2025. We made a reservation for 2 Softails for 15 days and paid the "Model Guarantee" fee for each bike. Saying this, Eaglerider had 7 month time to prepare the bikes we paid for. 4 weeks and 3 weeks before the tour was supposed to start we reached out to Eaglerider if everything is going as planned. We never received a reply. 3 days before we left Germany, we received the information that we are not getting what we paid for. We are getting Street Glides...bikes we definitely didn't want!!! In Seattle we got told that those would be the better bikes for that tour. Who is Eaglerider to tell us what's better for us??? We paid in addition and still didn't get what we paid for, even Eaglerider had 7 month to get things organized!!!
We dropped the bikes at the last day couple of hours late and Eaglerider charged us a full day in addition.
Saying this...Eaglerider expects full flexibility from their customers, but doesn't show the same to their customers.
We got told that the model guarantee fee will be reimbursed. Now, 4 weeks later, we still didn't receive the refund!!!
It was our 3rd tour with Eaglerider and probably the last...
The trip was for each of us 13.000$ and it started with a kick in the nuts by Eaglerider and ended the same way!!!

ALLES PERFEKT
ALLES PERFEKT
Alles in Allem:
Ein sehr guter Service und sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
Nächste Tour dann wieder mit EAGLERIDER !

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
If other people are dissatisfied, I just can’t understand it.
I ordered two Street Glide Touring Edition motorcycles a year before our Route 66 tour.
When we arrived at 9:00 a.m., our bikes were already waiting for us.
A quick briefing, a few signatures, and after about 30-45 minutes, we were on our way.
We stopped briefly at the hotel, stowed our duffel bags on the back seat, and hit the road.
When I got a flat tire on the rear wheel about two-thirds of the way through the trip, I received help very quickly.
EAGLERIDER took care of everything.
After about an hour, the tow truck arrived, loaded the Harley, and took me to the nearest Harley dealer in Victorville, CA 92395.
There, a new rear tire was installed, and after about two hours, we were back on the road.
We rode 3,769 miles over the three weeks, and the bikes were in impeccable condition!
The return process in Los Angeles was completed very quickly.
All in all:
Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff.
Next tour—we’ll be riding with EAGLERIDER again!
I hope you'll forgive my imperfect English.

Third time I have gone to different…
Third time I have gone to different stores and had issues. Two times in Seattle, bike was not available even after confirmation. Offered another bike that had a flat battery. Once in Las Vegas, I understood this one, another rider crashed the MT09, but they did not reach out and let us know. One other rental in New Orleans was great. Seattle is a waste of time.

Mixed Bag. Out from the UK picking up a Road Glide…
Out from the UK picking up a Road Glide from Eagle Rider in New Orleans. Pick up was fine except there were hidden charges which I am trying to sort out with the holiday agent to see on the validity of them. The bike's gearbox broke a few days into the hire and I limped it to Nashville to swap it (with no issues) to a far better bike. Then I was warned a few days before drop off the Eagle Rider shop at end of trip was closed so had to travel quite a way further to drop it off. Having said that I was offered another day's rental at no charge and my resulting extensive Uber ride was re-imbursed. In other words a mixed bag but Tim at Eagle Rider New Orleans was amenable, kept me informed and I generally had a great ride.
