I was told by many people that ther was no way to file a "free" return and I had to pay for Turbotax, etc. Then I heard about a free way on irs.com...and tried e-file for the first time...it was great! twice I had problems/didn't know how to answer and I emailed for help which I received the next day---with clear, succinct instructions on how to remedy my problem. Though I did end up paying because my return required an additional form beyond the free package, and you are charged to file your state return, I was very pleased and extremely impressed with the level of support I received to all my queries.

Outstanding customer service. English is not my first language and I'm computer illiterate. I was on the phone with a technician her name is a s h a Shanique she was extremely professional and charged with patients only few minutes I was able to correct my return and submit it. I wish I could I have a customer service like. Everywhere I went but this is in a perfect world Right? I have used e-file before for my immigration documents I have one word to say Outstanding. Today we had the pleasure of connecting with a customer service representative named Khadijah. My husband and I filed our taxes almost two months ago and had yet to receive our refund. We had no problem with E-File before. Khadijah listened carefully and quickly discovered that we had made an error and proceeded to patiently walk us through correcting it and helping us file our taxes. She took the stress out of the situation and we plan to continue using E-File.

I was on my third rejection when I tried filing my federal tax forms. I easily fixed the first two but was stumped by the third one. I called E-file and after a few minutes wait spoke with a most helpful and kind lady. I regret I did not ask her name. She spent a huge amount of time trying to figure out the problem. It was actually a problem she couldn’t fix, but the suggestion she made led me to the solution. I will use E-file again next year and from now on. Can’t say enough positive comments about them.
