Drop has engaged me in forced fiscal intercourse
Drop has, essentially, engaged me without my permission and against my will, in forced fiscal intercourse. Customer service rep, Crystal, was pleasant to deal with, but was unable to resolve the issue. Drop informs that there will be an additional 30 days added to the ship date (which was Feb 21); It is now March 4, amateurish and unprofessional practice; this was not volunteered by Drop, I had to chase it down via their customer service team, which was uninformed. Avoid purchasing from this company. I acknowledge I am somewhat of an anachronism: I was born in the 1940’s, raised in the 1950’s with all the cultural implications which that carries, came of age in the idealistic 1960’s and Viet Nam era, and recall vividly the lessons my parents tried to instill: treat others with human dignity and respect, take responsibility for one’s behavior, and offer apology when wrong. A bit archaic perhaps, but still worthy principles. Good manners never go out of style. I guess things are just different for Drop.com
