Do you care about your workers at all... from a disgruntle Customer...
My question to a company who has bought out not one but two franchises, do you care about your employees? It amazes me as a customer how hard your employees work especially your managers and to find out that you cut hours and that they have been without a working AC unit working in inhumane conditions of heat for about 6 months is ridiculous. Dollar tree general managers and other executives sit in their high chairs and basically runs a sweat shop, and the sweating is done by the managers basically from what i've seen, who put in all of the hard work, which brings me to another question, A manager is suppose to manage a shift of workers right or am i wrong? So why don't you give them the hours needed for them to do their job, oh yea executive bonuses huh... Why is that when I frequent Dollar tree stores the manager is always stocking the shelves and not hired stockers, I can see the frustration on their faces and I can understand as well why they are frustrated, like one Asst. Manager stated to me You don't see managers at Walmart or Target stocking shelves they do what they title says Manage, and I definitely agree with them. I can imagine that your managers are not paid what they are truly worth, which would be sad on your part as an organization. For a multi million dollar organization you should be ashamed of yourselves for basically being ungrateful for the work put in by Managers and employees who have to pay bills and take care of their families. Most of the dollar tree stores I frequent the shelves are in shambles sometimes not stocked, the floor is dirty with trash in the aisles, because there are not enough employees or their isn't enough hours, so my next question is do you care about your Image as a company? You should care about your employees and your image, because as a customer my shopping experience in your dollar tree isn't really worth the one star I did give this review, I felt like I should be be generous with at least one star. Having to stand in a line in an hot store is not the customer experience i was looking for, but I promised the manager and the one worker he had for his shift that I would be a voice for them in this matter, because they deserve better from your company. I hope your company does the right thing and address the issues i spoke on today, and not just at the Midway St. Paul store 01295 but other stores as well, these are human beings who work hard for the Dollar Tree corporation.
Sincerely
Disgruntle and Appalled Customer...

i placed an order online
I placed an order online. It was the biggest hassle I've ever experienced. It took weeks to get a note that it had arrived at the store (a stupid way to run a online order process). Then, it apparently never made it off the truck. After weeks of runaround, I was finally able to get a refund.
This was a horrible experience - I DO NOT recommend using Dollar Tree's online ordering. I will most likely never shop there again.

Their Customer Service Sucks!!!!!!!
Their customer service sucks. I went to the 126th and Walker Road store yesterday in Beaverton Oregon and wanted only 4 quarters to supplement the 10 I had to do a load of laundry this weekend. The cashier Danny who was older and in 60s was rude. He said he knows nothing and has nothing and can do nothing about Wells Fargo not being able to give me very many quarters. He said it over and over 5 or 6 times. (All I needed was 4 more to put with my 10 I had) That was it. After I was waiting inside for my bus-(I am disabled and use a walker) Also heard him yelling at another lady because she had a basket and their baskets have poles in them so people do not steal the merchandise) He had her crying(Danny)Danny does not even deserve a 1)He gets a big fat 0 here for this review. They for 12 hours a day get a customer every 3 seconds. I counted them going in and out for over 30 minutes. After paying their help and for the merchandise and vendors they still per month would have millions and millions of dollars made a month if not more. This company is a multi billion dollar company according to my calculations. They do not have a freaking clue about how to treat a customer if Danny treated me like I was a piece of crap. I will never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever go to Dollar Tree ever ever ever never again.

Dollar Tree on Gull Road in Kalamazoo…
Dollar Tree on Gull Road in Kalamazoo MI
A few weeks ago on Friday June 30 shortly before noon, I was standing in a long line as per usual being that there was only one person running a register. I normally don't mind because my favoriate cashier was there and let me tell, you this lady is/was amazing at her job. She didn't care if she had one customer in her line or if she had 20 people in her line, she gave everyone the same amazing customer service every time. This day however while I was waiting for my turn in line (mind you there were 5 or customers in front of me with 3-5 more behind me and I was standing back by what they call (the snack zone cooler) I heard her(sorry she didn't wear her name tag so I don't know her name but she was ALWAYS on register 2 and it seemed like she lived there because she was always there when I would go in) ask the manager that wears a wig "Yvette where are you going now? I told you I need to use the bathroom." I did not hear the manager responded to her in any way. Instead she came over and stood next to the line of customers doing something with the batteries. I then watched the manager go into the office. Before I could get up to the register to check out, the cashier went to the office doorway and told the manager "I have to go NOW" the cashier then turned her light of told her line of customers that she was sorry and would be right back. The manager then had a new employee (one I had yet to meet) get on register 1. As I was still in line waiting cash out, the cashier came back up from the bathroom and I heard her tell the manager to pull her drawer. She then stated that she had not made it and actually used the bathroom on herself. I will tell you that there had been a good 5 minutes from the time the cashier asked the manager where she was go because she had to use the bathroom to when she had to walk away from her line of customers. In that time the manager had PLENTY of time to hop on her register and let the cashier go use the bathroom.
Almost 2 weeks later and I have not seen my favorite cashier but I have seen the manager who would not let her go use the bathroom which made her "wet" herself while working.
Now I don't know if the cashier quit or what after this or what but I have not seen her since and like I said I do know for a fact that the manager Yvette has still been working. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that allows their managers to treat their employees the way Yvette treated this cashier.

There are a couple of important things…
There are a couple of important things to consider before shopping at Dollar Tree at 6085 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights Ca.
Everything is $1.25.
DO NOT EXPECT:
•Quality merchandise
•Well run stores
•Trained, polite management and workers
•Stores to comply with their posted opening and closing hours
DO EXPECT:
•The store’s business hours to be different than what is posted on the door
The store at 6085 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights Ca, regularly locks its doors during its posted open for business hours to keep customers out due to bad management, poor scheduling, and employee misconduct. If you’re willing to put up with how this company does business, you’re on a tight budget, and are willing to take your chances, go for it- and good luck.
