No scams! Our backorder process allows for you to place orders for out of stock items to reserve them and avoid having to keep checking back for them to be in stock. If you have also ordered other in stock items, they will ship right away, and the backorder items will ship automatically as soon as they are back in stock, and with no additional shipping charge. And you don't pay for the for the backordered item until it ships so there is no risk on your part. We do apologize for any inconvenience that the extended out of stock dates on this frame has created however. The factories provide the expected ship dates however due to supply chain issues, they have been unable to fulfill the orders as of yet. If you would like, we will be happy to see if there might be something similar in stock that might meet your needs.
