The items were delivered promptly. I accidentally over ordered one item and the return refund was processed within days. I was pleased. It was easy to talk with a representative through chat.

I have never had a problem ordering and have always been happy with Blick Art, and it's not that it was a problem now, my order apparently on back order. I was unaware of that until after I purchased. Now the order has been pushed back again and once again was not notified. I only found out after looking up my order again. An email would have been nice.

We understand how disappointing it can be to wait for your supplies and we apologize for the inconvenience. Our product pages do display a status icon noting if a product is in stock, low on stock, or is out of stock. This is also noted with a message in the cart, and on the order confirmation. Out of stock items usually include the expected in stock date which is provided by the vendor based on when they expect to ship the product. Since we already have this messaging in place for items that are out of stock at the time an order is placed, as the items in your order were, we do not send a separate notification of the backorder. We do send out periodic email updates later if there have been changes to the expected date for items on your order, which may be different than the current backorder date shown online. We appreciate your business and again, apologize for the inconvenience create by the backorder.

I paint with acrylics and have purchased paint and brushes from DickBlick a few times over the past couple years. I've found the pricing very reasonable compared with other online retailers, and far better value than the local stores. I wait until I need to replenish multiple items to take advantage of the amount required for free shipping. The selection is excellent, ranging from economy to professional grade materials. The ordering process is very straightforward to navigate, and the order was shipped promptly, as per notifications by email.

I have been doing business forever with Blick, because the quality, variety, and prices are so good. I’ve not painted for 2 years, so when I went back to Blick, I was happy that they carried the same frame collections that I loved. I was not surprised the prices have increased, but not prohibitively. I ordered my frame and it came in less than a week! It is just how I remember.
